[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Motherboard Gigabyte Z390 Designare , one of my many hackintosh. CPU in this config is i9-9900K. I think that i9-9900K has a issue with memory allocated error. On Mojave start randomly for example five start is OK one is failure . Probably i7-9700K start without any issue. I has a thunderbolt apple adapter from TH/TH2.o to TH3.0 maybe this is reason why I cant connect device after computer start.

  • If you see Couldn't allocate runtime area message or End randomseed +++++ during boot, it most likely means that the memory driver is not compatible. If you're using OcQuirks-4 and FwRuntimeServices, then please check that no other memory driver is present in the same folder.
  • Thunderbolt hot-plug should work even with Apple TB2-to-TB3 adapter, but Thunderbolt 1 devices will most likely fail. There are some rare exceptions, but nearly all Thunderbolt 1 devices will fail on this system. Thunderbolt 2 and Thunderbolt 3 devices should work properly.
    • What is the make and model of your Thunderbolt device(s) that is not connecting?

Actually you can just copy the two attached SSDTs into CLOVER/ACPI/patched.
I think I found the answer, keep USBInjectAll.kext?

Sadly I lost all the USB ports with these two files

@CaseySJ how did the clean install go any suggestions on what I could potentially be running into? I have the patience and I’ve been trying every root lol I even have a RX 560 now to attempt to install with that and swap to 5700xt I know I can have a super stable build as it was before I just made a rookie move and didn’t rebuild kernal cache or CCC this won’t happen again now I just need to get up and running before hows the 5700xt treating you?

Yes, USBInjectAll must be present.

You can perform a controlled experiment by removing just those two files and rebooting. Do the USB ports come back?

It will take me a couple of days to experiment with various settings. However, you may certainly install the RX 560 and see if your system boots. If not, you may also attempt a fresh install with the RX 560.
