Thanks, i updated my hw info.

I already followed all of this guide, and by fact have a functioning MacOs on t440. Only thing that does not work (and it stil doesn't work after all of the fixes applied) is audio. Is there a quick way to redo only the post-install part ?

I installed using a Legacy Clover (tried before with a UEFI one but did not succeed). Also, on EFI on hard disk i have a legacy clover (a slightly different version from the one installed on the USB drive)...

Thanks

sounds like you didn't follow the guide:
Install for UEFI Booting Only

Hi folks. I followed the procedure and I have to say that everything works perfect on my t440 except the audio. Whatever I try, I can not make it work(neither on headphones nor regular speakers). Are there any workarounds?

I heard that latest AppleALC.kext is having issues, download 1 version older and see if that works for you.
But still without problem reporting files it's impossible to know where the problem is.

I am getting this:
IOREG dump failed. Retrying by increasing delays...

Increased delay by x2 times. Retrying...

IOREG dump failed. Retrying by increasing delays...

Increased delay by x3 times. Retrying...

IOREG dump failed. Retrying by increasing delays...

IOREG dump has failed 3 times. Dumping generic IOREG report instead.

Tnx for great tutorial, FYI my laptop specification is

Thinkpad T440,

Intel Core i5-4300U
Intel HD Graphics 4400

I'm a little hesitant in preparing the kext file, do I have to follow what is listed in this tutorial link?

Creating USB Installer
Everything is covered at Rehabman guide on how to create a USB Installer, go read his guide first then come back here to continue with the creation of USB Installer. Link to his guide:

or only listed on this page?

Into EFI/Clover/kexts/Other add these kexts since they will be mandatory for macOS Installation:

Hello there,

thank you for this great tutorial

I managed to install High Sierra but I found a number of strange things

First, the amount of RAM capacity I have seems wrong when I look at "about this mac" and I check on the "activity monitor" as well. The amount of my RAM should be 12GB, but it says 16GB.

then at normal boot the amount of ram I used directly amounted to 7.9gb of 16gb (the original was 12gb) is this a normal thing on hackintosh?
