Hello All,

I've been followed the KGP Mojave (10.14.4) guide step by step but install starts and stop (freeze) on 4 choice screen (disk utility) or install start and stop with no-entry sign. I try install Mojave 10.14.6

Bios version: 2002

Intel Core i9-9940X
Asus Prime-A X299
Radeon RX Vega 64 Gigabyte
Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe 1TB
PSU HX850i Corsair

Thanks in advance

Triple check your BIOS settings against KGP. On my old hackintosh I ran into the same issue when I went to install.

Not sure about to the Prime-A board- but the Sage was a lot of menu driving to make sure everything was set correctly. Good luck!

Did anyone else have issues installing the drivers for the Titan Ridge under Windows 10? I feel like I’m missing something

It opens a command prompt and then closes too quickly to assess any error messages.

EDIT: Flashing is happening now..... why would the installer application work- I had to right click and search using Device Manager..... I don’t miss Windows at all lol

Thank You for your reply djbuddha. I've checked BIOS, and it seems OK. 2002 BIOS version isn't exactly the same parameters 1503.

This is making me nervous to update to 2002

I’m on 0905 right now.

Common things that new users overlook are: CSM settings (should be disabled, Auto might work) and Above 4G encoding.....double check those. Try with 4G encoding enabled and try with it disabled....and choose the one that works for you.....when I had a Prime Deluxe board, I couldn't boot without it enabled, but others had different results....so try it both ways and choose the one that works best....currently on my Sage with 2002, I have it on Auto, which wasn't available on my Prime Deluxe bios, at least when I had it....

Well, I'm currently on 2002, but my Sage board is slightly different from yours, but not by much, and it's fine on 2002.

I initially did not like it, but at that time I was on the release of 10.15.0, and that was not a good release.

I don't know how much was Catalina 10.15.0 and how much was bios version 2002, but I re-did it (using the the bios flashback, and that's probably the only way to upgrade bios versions on these motherboards) and since then it's been fine. The bios itself wasn't a lot different, not that I can tell......so I didn't have any issues re-configuring it....

Thanks for reply guys. I need Install Mojave 10.14.6. Catalina is no more compatible with 32bits softwares.

Have a trouble here: KGP said: "e.) CPU SVID Support: Enabled [fundamental for proper IPG CPU power consumption display] "

But do not have IPG display on X299 CPU's platform.

Is your motherboard a Gigabyte SOC Champion? Is it X299 or X99? kgp's work was almost exclusively with Asus boards, and that setting is pretty common on Asus boards, but I have no idea about Gigabyte's boards....

Maybe @nmano or @Ellybz can assist.....they are the only two I know who use Gigabyte boards...

I've Gigabyte SOC Champion X99 but today I build a new step:

Intel Core i9-9940X
Asus Prime-A X299
Radeon RX Vega 64 Gigabyte
Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe 1TB
PSU HX850i Corsair

Otherwise, on X99 or X299 platforms (Gigabyte, Asus, MSI, Asrock, or others) do not have IPG display on that CPUs
