Problem when IGPU is activated

Hi ! Long time no see, didn't want to rush you all but since it's been a month, I make a new post :)

I was wondering if anyone had an idea to point me in the right direction, I'm still without jpeg preview, and seems I have problems with m4a too ... (but that could be because the image of it is a jpeg).

So if I check IGPU in BIOS, I've a incredible long boot time, and then no monitors, I'm able to have a patch in Hackintool (by connecting remotly) but this patch doesn't seems to change anything. If I don't have IGPU checked in BIOS, boot time is normal and both monitors works fine, but no VDA decoder. My config plist is above, and any other information needed, if not provided in the posts before, will be gladly given :).

Thanks a lot !

I just looked at your config.plist from post #48. You have an insane number of fixes enabled in config.plist > ACPI > Fixes.

I would start by unchecking all of them and see if you are able to boot without them.

Also, in config.plist > Graphics, uncheck "Inject Intel".

What version of macOS are you running?

Thanks for your answer !

I'm running 10.14.6

For the ACPI, there's only 2 fixes in clover configurator, EHC1 to EH01 ans EHC2 to EH02 (I think I need those). Then drop OEM_DSM is checked, and in generate options, PluginType is checked (don't really know why). When I open in BBEdit, I don't even find an ACPI entry ... I attach it again but I haven't made a change since the one of post #48 (except uncheck "inject intel").

I reboot right now without the inject intel, thanks again

[edit] no change with just the inject intel unchecked, just long boot time then no screen

What exactly happens when you boot? What do you see?

Please post verbose screen where it stops.

Also, please try adding "-disablegfxfirmware" boot flag in config.plist > Boot.

Make sure Lilu, AppleALC, Whatevergreen have been updated to latest versions.

When I boot without IGPU, there's a progress bar on second screen, then it's black then it's resuming on main screen for a few seconds then login.

When I enable IGPU, the progress bar is on second monitor also, but at midway, it stops. Then it's a few minutes, like 4-5, then black screen. I can still connect remotely from the laptop when the screens goes black.

When IGPU is activated, there's a first stop, not too long, there :
IMG_0180.jpeg

then a long stop there :
IMG_0179.jpeg

that end up like this before going to black screen :
IMG_0183.jpeg

I've added the boot option with no difference, with or without IGPU in BIOS.

My lilu and others are up to date, in fact I've already probably updated those quite a few time since I've started this topic :)

thank a lot !

What happens when you boot with IGPU disabled in BIOS?

That's what I meant when I said "when I boot without IGPU", when I boot with IGPU disabled in BIOS, it boot fine, but I have no jpeg preview in finder, preview app is not able to launch and I have no VDA decoder.

Please post your entire EFI folder.

Here you are (normally we cleaned it together two pages ago but there can still be trash :))

And what about what you said to me earlier,
You have an insane number of fixes enabled in config.plist > ACPI > Fixes.
Couldn't find more than 2 as I said, is there something I miss ?

cheers

I was talking about this stuff from the config.plist attached to post #48:

Please try the attached EFI folder with IGPU enabled in BIOS. Remember to set dGPU to be Primary Display and do not connect monitors the motherboard video outs.
