Asus X299 - Catalina Support

My system work perfect in Catalina 10.15.1 with my Sapphire nitro+ 5700 XT.
My system is X299, i9-7900X and SMBIOS iMacPro 1,1. All Adobe programs work accelerated for hardware, and Final Cut X work fine .

I update my system from High Sierra to Catalina with GTX 980 Ti nv-disable and change graphic. I'm using WEG 1.3.4.

I attached my UEFI Folder ... the system runs, but I don't know if it could run better / if the system runs only on standard mode... maybe you guys would take a look inside my folder. I read about ssdt files for graphic cards like this one: SSDT-X299-BR1A for the PCIE Slot 1

what exactly do I need this for? ... If someone has a similar setup, could you maybe check if my kexts are the right ones or if I could load better ones into the setup just to speed up the system? thank you so much

You are missing a bunch of SSDTs. Not that they are all critical (most are cosmetic, but some, like the audio ones can be helpful in diagnosing problems) So, have you checked kgp's threads? Yes, it's closed but it's still relevant. I have never checked APSN and APLF, and I used to have the same board you have (don't anymore, though). Have you gone through the bios section of kgps X299 thread? The early part of that thread he had a Prime Deluxe and the configurations that are discussed there can directly apply to your system. So, spend some time there and mine the gold....!

So, LG has upgraded my monitor to support HDR: https://www.anandtech.com/show/15087/lg-unveils-43un700-monitor-425inch-4k-w-hdr10-for-work-gaming.

This is an almost exact copy of the monitor I work on except my monitor does not have HDR support. The ports on this new monitor are identical and in exactly the same place as they are on my Monitor. I wish they would add a stand that allow it to be set at different heights. As it's not curved and it's so big, it took me some time to get used to it, and how to best utilize it. Now, I don't think it needs to be curved at all. I was able to drive mine at 5120k, but decided that just wasn't that important to me. 3840x2160 was fine, after all.

Will I upgrade? Most probably to get HDR for my Editing projects.....price is expected to be around $600-750.....but it hasn't been released in the US or Europe just yet.....I love that it has a remote as does mine....that has proved to be very useful.

Have you improved Playback 4X and 8X With the RX 5700 XT graphics card?

I choose to use a dual graphics card with DaVinci Resolve.
It helps to process faster.

Today, I installed on my main system system Catalina on the second M2 NVMe on the vertical port.
I used a PNY XLR8 CS 3030, perhaps not the best but the installation was for me faster than even in two stages about 11 minutes in total.
I use the MacPro 7,1 SMBIOS for adjustment and development on X299 platform.
New release macOS Catalina 10.15.1 19B2106 is available.

Wow, Mac Pro 7,1 SMBIOS must be most suitable for X299 Hackintosh build
Really want to try the new SMBIOS.
Is it available to us when the new Mac Pro is officially launched？Or would you mind tell me how can I get this now?
