Hi! Would you like to know how much the system has been configured so far? Can mojave be used with original machine parts?
Sorry I don't understand your questions. So far legion y530 hardware is compatible with MacOS only WiFi/Bluetooth card had to be changed (see post #22 for more information)

It didn't work. I did following, It worked. It turns on the Num lock LED when running the FixNumLock script. However it doesn't work when Karabiner-Element is running.
- I tried running that script and rebooted.
- Input monitoring permission asked for the "FixNumLock" and granted.
- Closed Karabiner-Element
- I'm using ApplePS2Controller_Release_v4.6.8.kext

Neither Num lock led turns on nor Numpad keys works. Let me know if you want to try anything else.

- However I got Numpad working using "setleds" program. But the thing is it doesn't work well with Karabiner-Element so I added some rule in karabiner and wrote a script to make it work with Karabiner. It's tricky but works great. I can use Num lock like it works in windows.
- Another method to turn numpad on is, when system boots up (prior to macOS booting) and you turn on the Num lock, it'll work
Haha you shouldn't use karabiner elements it may mess things up. I had a very bad experience whit it, crashed my system :( . But glad to know you fixed the problem

You can use USB to DVI/HDMI adapter by DisplayLink. I recently purchased and it works great.

That's what I want to hear! Do you know if there's any other option than DisplayLink?

There's cheap(<$5) USB to VGA adapter by "Fresco Logic". It works but for many applications text become angled and 60Hz display feels like 40Hz. Their driver is still in beta since Mojave. DisplayLink updates their drivers frequently and have great performance. I purchased it from aliexpress for $15

Yes, i use USB 3.1 Type C to HDMI, all good so far.
It's strange. I've a USB Type-C to multiport adapter like this and it was working fine with my Macbook Pro 2017 but doesn't work with Hackintosh. Curious which Type-C to HDMI works for you without driver
