I'm only asking but : Do you have X299 or X99 config? Because it's a X99 thread :p

As @Loloflatsix said - you should use wired Keyboard and mouse for installation :)

if you don't have any...
- 1st check if little USB 8pin cable is connected from your WiFI/BT card
to your motherboard
- 2nd thing it can be "4G Above decoding" disabled in BIOS, you can check if it works after enabling it
- 3rd thing can be main thing - it's a clover/oc configuration problem, but it's completely different story
Yes, I am using x99 platform.
everything was fine on 10.15.0 but at 10.15.1 my Bluetooth is not working while installation, but my usb keyboard n mouse is working fine.

Not all BT chipsets support BT devices on boot.

For example, the older ones pulled from the 2009-2012 Mac Pros do not support this function.

I use this one and BT works everywhere, including BIOS screen.

But as mentioned, it's always best to have a wired keyboard/mouse combo laying around just in case.
You are correct on that, my Bluetooth is not working while installation. But it is working on BIOS.

If it's working in the BIOS, it should work in the installation menu too since BT drivers are loaded.

But just use a wired keyboard/mouse for install, much less headaches.

I wouldn't get the RX580 on a iMac Pro 1,1 SMBIOS (X299 platform). At a minimum get a Vega 56/64/Radeon VII.

I don't know about Navi and iMac Pro 1,1, but it looks like its supported in 10.15.1

I seem to have found a Sapphire Nitro Vega 64 for $500 CAD (~$380 USD) brand new on clearance from a reputable retailer nearby. Is this the GPU I should jump on for this build?

Interesting Intel CPU i9 9990XE

Haha intel is such a joke right now. Sad, really.

Way too expensive for an old card. Try to find a used one and pay ~$150-200 USD at most. You're better off getting a 5700 or 5700XT or something (I have no experience with these cards, personally) and you have to use Catalina.

VEGA 56 or VEGA 64, which you can find on Amazon US also, between $ 299 and $ 399, are a bit expensive, as @izo1 wrote, it against 5700 or 5700 XT but they are still relatively powerful , you can use them on High Sierra or Mojave if you don't want to jump on Catalina. (For me it should be more interesting the possibility to use it on different macOS versions for testing on your new build.)

Couple of issues, by the time I buy a card and pay brokerage and taxes, it’ll work out being more expensive for a new card. And with an old card, I’m worried that’s it’s been used for mining.
Also, can’t / won’t run Catalina on this thing.

In terms of compatibility- is that Sapphire card going to work for me if I don’t find a cheaper alternative? I ask this because when you work out duties and brokerage, this is the cheapest alternative I’m going to find. Reading up on price / performance in FCPX with the Vega 64, it’s way better even at the price I’m paying vs a Radeon VII at this point.

In my personal opinion: Radeon 5700 or XT version it's not worth to buy
You can buy it if you want few more FPS in games, but few games, Vega 64 is still the best choice.
Cheaper option Vega 56, and ... better option for someone who work a lot with graphics Radeon VII
(but only if you earn money with your graphic work)
I will don't talk about price in my place because (France) prices are different than
best luckiest people on the world "US" (who always have best price without  holy "f-word" tax-es of import
and stupid European boosted prices ) I'm sorry I'm always mad on that subject...

So if you don't care so much about few more fps in gaming,
Vega 64 is the best choice - of course "in my personal opinion and experience" ;)
PS: I don't know from where izo1 is, but 150-200usd it can be magic price,
but maybe for 240-250$ why not (and 295-320$ for new one, or something like that) :p
In every way, it's worth to check it everywhere and take time for best choice for your usage :)
