AMD Radeon Navi GPU

We have a pretty similar issue. Do you have any other graphics cards, eg Nvidia cards? If you do, you can try to install the system with that card. After the installation is complete, you can try to swap the card to the AMD one and boot into the system. I can use this method to enter the new system.

But after a few minutes(5-30), some minor glitch may happen (cursor may glitch). After that, the whole system just hangs.

My graphics card is a 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition.

Thanks for your reply. I used your method to installed the OS. After swapping to AMD when the installation done, everything works like charm. I also done some export test from FCPX and Davinci Resolve projects.

To get this working, I disabled Intel GPU and set Initial Display Output to PCIe slot in the BIOS, Used Whatevergreen 1.3.4 with agdpmod=pikera and Disable ATI Inject in clover graphics option.

Did you encounter any glitches after swapping the GPU?

No, I did not use any injecting.
I added my EFI file.

Try disabling this in ACPI tables.

I am not the person who posted the EFI folder. I noticed that I have the same patch enabled and I tried to disable it but the display is still incorrect.

Here's my EFI folder, can you help me to check if I can make any improvements on it?

Thanks

The boot arg should not be needed with WEG 1.3.4.

Anything I tried hasn't changed. The problem continues.:(

Have you tried to install the system with other cards, for example, an Nvidia card, and swap the card back to 5700 XT after the installation is completed? There is another person in this thread that tried that and made it work in the new system.

Until now I've seen about 3 or 4 people on the Internet that having the same graphical problem with the 5700 XT.
To be honest, I have no idea why this happens. I even wonder if there is a portion of the chip that just simply won't work with the current version of the macOS.

Also, I have to say that this card is kind of the worst card in terms of driver compatibility. When using this card in windows, I have to re-install the driver multiple times with different versions. Each version of the driver has its own problem: H/W decoding not working well, BSOD, black screen then auto reboot, etc. So, I am a little bit disappointed with AMD graphics cards.
