macOS 10.15.1 Update

On my systems, WhateverGreen helps enable all video out ports and enables HDMI/DisplayPort audio. But I can boot fine without it installed as long as my monitor is connected to the correct video out port.

People who are having problems with WhateverGreen have an outdated version installed. If they update, there's no problem or, at least some of them, can just remove WhateverGreen.

Another thing to consider is having WEG, lilu, etc., in /Libraries/Extensions/ folder and then adding the new version to Clover. This may be causing issues for people that used MultiBeast in the past and are now adding it to Clover.

Updated from 10.14.6 and went smoothly until black screen (RX560). I thought I had updated to WEG 1.3.4 before I updated. Anyway found that I did update to 1.3.4 BUT I also updated to dev build of Lilu 1.3.9. This caused black screen. Used a backup USB disk to downgrade to Lilu 1.3.8 and bam!

Forgot to read up on Bluetooth changes so it didn't work but I've downloaded the new kexts so that should work.

My install went fine. Took about 30 minutes. I'm also on clover r5098.

I was using gt210 in Mojave and also in Catalina beta and final version with a new fix called "legacy video patch"
I also said that i was using Catalina 10.15 without any problems , now i don't know why i have this strange problem!

Maybe patch needs new data values.

Installed ok. But have purple screen and no sound. Updated whatevergreen to the latest, Lilu and AppleALC and not done the job. .-.

So it seems system with AMD gpu need Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext ver. 1.3.4 for Catalina 10.15.1 to boot.

AMD gpu is not so natively supported by OSX after all.

Radeon is still supported by macOS and much better supported than GeForce.

My system use to boot fast, now my system is slow booting to black screens. Tried all the combinations mentioned in this thread, no luck.
