Hello MacMan, what is your minimum idle CPU frequency in Power Gadget with i7-8700K and iMac19,2 SMBIOS? Thanks.

Anyone using iMac19, smsbios with Coffee Lake CPUs (especially 9th series), could you please tell me what is the minimum idle frequency you have in Intel Power Gadget?

have you tried to choose mac Pro 1.1? For my team, I chose imac 18.2 at the beginning, but the rest status was a problem, after changing to imac 19.1 the rest problem was solved, because of my specifications I have tried mac pro 1.1 and it has improved the results of my cpu my computer is an asus z370-f cpu 8700k 32gb Ram sapphire nitro vega 64 board. What do you think about choosing macpro 1.1 in smbios?

apparently everything works fine with 19.1 and 19,2 even corrects problems I had with the state of rest, the only thing that is not clear to me is if my hack is really using my vega 64 as a priority to work, in final cut when I give it to get Information from applications does not leave me to choose which graphics I want to use and within the program I also do not see the option to choose it. I upload some screenshots of how I have it in case you can tell me if everything is ok or should I correct something, my igpu is activated from the Bios. my motherboard is an asus z370-f and my cpu 8700k 32gb of ram and sapphire nitro vega 64, thanks!!

Switched from 18,3 to 19,2 to better match my 8700. Works great and even gave my Geekbench score a boost by 100.

If using USBinjectall you need to make an adjustment. Someone did it here in the last comment and it worked well for me. https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-USB-Inject-All/issues/21

It's possible if you use the "no_compat_check" boot argument... But, personally, I wouldn't do it. Real iMac19,x models were released way after macOS 10.13.6. Just use iMac18,x.

thanks for response. I've been using iMac pro 1,1 for sometime now, do you think ill see any difference in performance, rendering etc...? if I were to switch to iMac 18,xx?

For High Sierra, you'll probably get better performance enabling IGPU and configuring it to be headless and use iMac18,x.

For Mojave, iMacPro1,1 should be fine. This is because of improvements Apple made to the way macOS behaves on iMacPro1,1.
