I am kindly asking for two things:
1) Please point me out to the most relevant posts buried in the middle of the thread, so that I can report and link them in the first post

The only thing that I did was to swap the battery with a new OEM one.
(BTW, good surprise, this OEM battery supplied by Dell in Oct 2019 has 7% more capacity than the original one and I'm back to 10 hours of uptime with office load.)
@bozma88 can you tell me please which battery did you buy and where?
Thank you!

Ordered directly from Dell Italy by phone.
Part number always the same: PW23Y.
The original battery was 7631mAh, the new one is 8085mAh.
Working really good so far. Price incl. shipping 58eur (no VAT).
For that price, no need to buy third-party ones.

Does anyone have a working Catalina build?
I'd want to update the thread with Catalina files.
Thanks!

I have a working Catalina build running just fine. But, I am on a 9360 with 8550u and QHD+ screen. Would you still like this info?

Hi,

I am trying to install Catalina on my XPS 9360:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz
Disk Drives: THNSN51T02DUK NVMe TOSHIBA 1024GB
Display Adapters: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620

I am using DarVoid repo and when I boot to the installer, the mouse is not working. I am currently on High Sierra and I tried a few times to use VoodooIC but never got it to work. Is there anything special I need to do?

When you're just booting the installer, it's best to use a USB mouse to install and then deal with the problem later on the installed system, if it even still happens at that point.

Yes, thank you.
And please list your sources.

Happend to me during the upgrade to Mojave, try my fix:

Open your config.plist, navigate to Kernel and Kext patches and add the following line under the submenu "ForceKextsToLoad": \System\Library\Extensions\IOGraphicsFamily.kext

Solved it for me.

Was the first thing I did ofc, didn't help in my case. I only used sudo kextcache -I / tho, maybe that was my error.

Thanks, I tired that (and also kextcache -I) but it still not working.
