AMD Radeon Navi GPU

My bad, no, I was using another iMac definition, I swapped to iMacPro1,1 and now I get acceleration:
View attachment 431705

Netflix plays for a couple of seconds, then gives me this error in Safari: "Error Code: S7363-1260-48444350"

Works perfectly well in Chrome.
Hide your serial and...[OT] what ram do you have? You probably haven't enabled XMP in bios and you're running at a low mhz

I'm not having that problem with Netflix with Safari. I was able to watch an entire episode on Netflix without any issues.

The error is something to do with HDCP, so it's perhaps the monitors support of HDCP rather than anything else, I couldn't be sure - I don't tend to watch Netflix in a browser and it's the first time in years I've used Safari too, so who knows :)

Good point, re-cropped the image, cheers.

I'm running two sets (4 in total) of these;

DDR4-3200MHz CL16-18-18-38 1.35V 16GB (2x8GB)

I hadn't notice the speed's low tbh, will take a look at that, thanks :)

** EDIT ** Yup, enabled XMP and clocked at 3200mhz now without issues, ta ;)

I have no idea how to validate if HEVC encoding is working, how would I test this?
I am not sure if ffmpeg support HEVC hardware encoding on macOS. VideoProc seems to be the hackintoshers goto solution for testing Video en/decoding support. You can download the trial version on their side.

Yeah, please disregard what I asked. Mac's only hardware encoding library it seems is VideoToolbox, which limits to average bitrate - not CRF. Apple's fault. FFMpeg does support videotoolbox, but again, same limitations. If the 5700/XT utilizes this library, same problem as the legit Mac's with T2. Very fast, but poor quality, short of throwing an insanely high average bitrate at it. If you manage to use HEVC encoding via another app, it's likely still using the videotoolbox library either way(Compressor, ffmpeg, VideoProc?). The link I mentioned earlier was with AMD's AMF library, and that's windows-only.

Hey! I managed to get everything working on the 5700, but I have another problem. Audio is working via HDMI and DisplayPort. But the 6 aux connector on the board are not. I tried several times to add AppleALC.kext. Every time I add it, I get a black screen when booting, and I cant even see if the 6 jack are working! My motherboard is ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO.
Anyone knows why?
Thank you

This is my first post (on this account and after many years) and I hope I do give the proper information needed.
After years of not owning a hackintosh I recently decided to buy a RX5700, wait until it's supported in OS X and start building one again. I did initially set up the machine on 10.15 GM using OpenCore with the IGPU enabled and everything worked fine, except iMessage (which is a different story obviously).

I then updated to the latest 10.15.1 Beta (19B77a), disabled the IGPU and WEG.
Everything is working except:
- iMessage (like before)
- Netflix in Safari only occasionally works (probably due to me using a DVI monitor with a HDMI to DVI adapter as a second monitor), chrome works fine though
- An occasional crash that I believe is related to the GPU and only happens after a few (5-30) minutes of inactivity

The error log after the reboot gives out the following:

Try using the EFI folder from my Z370 build. Link is below in my signature.

Also, yes, don't expect DRM content to work on connections without HDCP. Everything should work if/when you use HDMI or DisplayPort.

Hey! I managed to get everithing working on the 5700, but i have another problem. Audio is working via hdmi and display port, but the 6 aux connector do the board are not. I tried several times to add alpplealc.kext but everytime I add it i get black screen when booting, and i cant even see is the 6 jack are working! My motherboard is asus maximus vi hero.
Anyone knows why?
Thank you

This seems to be an issue with Catalina. The board audio is having problems.

After installing my new Sapphire Pulse 5700XT, my Hackintosh wouldn't boot. When I power-on, not even the UEFI logo appears on my monitor, let alone any chance for me to enter the BIOS settings. I subsequently removed the Sapphire card leaving nothing in the PCIe slot and tried connecting the monitor directly to iGPU HDMI, but still no response onscreen when I power-on. BTW, my last setting in Bios was iGPU enabled and set as Primary Display.
