anyone got this in Catalina? No thumbnails on new TV and Music app. I used Clover 3.4(updated clover and kexts). I dont know how to fix it.

FYI I've just tested the Sidecar feature (using the iPad as a second display) and it works flawlessly out of the box

Which mode did you test it in? Curious on if it works over both USB-A and wirelessly, assuming you're using the recommended DW1560 like I am. I've yet to get continuity camera to work for me even on Mojave on my system, so it'd be interesting to know if there's some issue that might also carry over to Sidecar.

(Actually, while you're at it, does Continuity Camera work for you with your iPad? Maybe it's just that feature specifically that's bugged..)

I have updated from mojave using @LeLunZ's clover. Everything works smooth except the power saving issue.When I close the lid,the power drains very fast.

Check your system Logs. If they throw errors, check in Console.app

can you watch the movies?

Did you use the disable hibernate script?
Mine isn’t draining much with closed lid.

Hey, I've tested sidecar with ipad wirelessly. I do not have iPad on me but I've just checked Continuity Camera with the iphone and it worked as well (I can test it with ipad later if you want). Yes, I have DW1560.

I can still watch the movies and listen music in new music app but only thumbnails on this two new apps don't show.

Nah. iPad's unneccessary in that case. If it works for you at all that means there's some problem on my end that I need to figure out. No clue what though. Universal Clipboard seems to work reliably, so clearly Continuity is enabled. I just can't get Continuity Camera / Scan to work whatsoever with the only compatible iOS device I own, which is my iPhone SE. Camera app never opens on the SE, and macOS throws the Device Timed Out error after a couple seconds.

do you know how can i have external monitor working with my xps with closed lid? I have mirrored the screen and then selected in power energy to not sleep on power cable. Also tried some insomniac app but no luck as soon as i close the lid screen goes black and thats it.

You need to have the laptop plugged in to wall power as well.

If that isn't working, I have no clue.
