Success! i5-8600K, RX 580, ASRock Z370 Pro4

Buy an RX570/80 card and you can use Catalina today.
What are my options if I want to use a Nvidia GPU? HS only or something else? And is there a Nvidia GPU that supports Mojave and Cata? Or it depends on the CPU? I wanna know what my options are, because I'll buy a new PC soon, so it will be best for me if I can combine the PC for gaming and the Mac+iPad for work. My personal choice tho is Intel and Nvidia, so what should I buy?

At this point I'm confused (at sorry, I did not read all 60 pages) so can someone enlighten me:

I have a perfectly working 10.14 and I know what I have to change with Clover and kext, but do I need to have the EC patch (if yes, which?) on a Skylake Z170 based Desktop?

High Sierra or Windows.
So the only way to get ANYTHING newer than HS is to buy AMD GPU ? Nothing higher than HS can't run on a Nvidia gpu?
Then...what's the best AMD GPU available right now that will run Cata?

Yes and no. Here's something Tony posted a year ago in regards to Mojave and compatible Nvidia GPUs. If you have a GTX 6xx or lower (plus a very few GTX 7xx), then you should be able to run Mojave and by extension, Catalina. If - on the other hand - you're trying to use a GTX 1xxx and higher, it's not going to happen.
