For x99/Broadwell users, this is what I have to do to update to Catalina, this is assuming your X99 system runs well on 10.4.6 already.

1. Update to supplementary update 2 on 10.14.6. My first try to update were not successful, where I did not update to supplementary update 2.

2. update to clover 5070

3. update latest Lilu.kext and whatevergreen.kext

4. Add Kernel patch:
xcpm_pkg_scope_msrs patch for 10.15:
31D2E874 FDFFFF -> 31D29090 909090

Works!

(Needed on some systems)

After that I went ahead to update from "system preference", everything went well. Attached the kernel patches I used (take note of what is abled and disabled). and The GeekBench 4 benchmark.

And Lastly, I really wish KGP is still here..... I could only trial and error without him... he would have make things very very much easier....

There are 3 of xcpm_pkg_scope_msrs , are they all reserved?

I used them base on KGP's built. Using them get my system to perform with the best Geekbench scores, not sure if other setup are the same...
