Everything went quick smooth (the update is done) but now I cannot go pass this loading screen and my computer keeps rebooting. It seems impossible to boot into recovery as well. Anyone has the same problem and is it still possible to fix it?

put it on -v and see whats going on

my installation fails with APCI errors just after the first reboot.
It just gets stuck there.

Hi,
I upgraded directly from Mojave successfully. Everything seems OK. But I realize after I opened Clover that I have to many volumes:

Partitition Scheme:
1. DATA (disk3s1) 108.87 GB
2. PREBOOT (disk3s2) 77.09 MB
3. RECOVERY (disk3s3) 504.45 MB
4. VM (disk3s4) 3.00 GB
5. Capitan (This is basically macOS) (disk3s5) 9.99 GB
all 5 APFS Volume

associated
Efi Partitions:
EFI on APFS Container (Capitan - Data,Preboot,Recovery,VM,Capitan)
Mounting and config.plist editing works fine no problems.

And then I checked up the Finder and saw same files twice. If I try to delete from the second 'Capitan' mostly it's the same files also it's also deletes in the first 'Capitan' but not all files are the same files the usr/lib is different in content

It seems I have now two systems or something like that. The main reason was to edit write in usr/lib cause cannot write on it it's protected but I booted in Recovery Mode and disabled in Terminal the csrutil but it didn't work also changing the RT Variables CsrActiveConfig to 0x67 did not work. I suppose that has something to do with it.

I hope I could explain it. I think something is wrong here or?

Thanks.

- Updated from Mojave to Catalina.

Flawless Update:

- Used Clover Configurator to update Clover and Kexts
- Made Time Machine Backup just in case
- Upgraded from App Store
- Done

No issues with GFX during or after install and even audio works.
Didn't take a long time either. Maybe 10 to 15 mins, I was away but it showed 13 mins when it started installation.

I'v had more (and serious) issues with Windows (on a separate SSD) then Mac lately to the point I got fed up. I then removed Windows and used the SSD as a Mac working drive. I will probably get back to Windows eventually (only for gaming btw) but for now I love having a stable system and not have to worry about Windows messing things up (especially after an update)

Razer Blade 15 2018 update went smooth ~20 min.
Bluetooth not working.

Clover 5070
Latest kexts

Exactly same for me.. :problem:
Bluetooth not available...

Edit:

Followed this post and now it's working!

Did you tried changing the port on your gpu ? We could have the same problem
Yes tried that - did not work. But inspired by that I tried the HDMI. That worked. But a lot of errors show up. No network, Finder errors etc.

Will revert to my CCC copy and assess the situation. I might just do a clean install and restore from Time Machine when I get to that point in the installation.
