macOS 10.15 Catalina is Now Available on the Mac App Store

My x299 build keeps getting stuck here doing a direct upgrade from mojave. This is on the first reeboot, so first restart after starting it in mojave. Any thoughts? im using clover 4934

I wanted to update to Catalina directly from System Updates but was stuck at the very beginning: error in the DSDT.
It seems that Catalina is more picky then Mojave when it starts. I deleted the DSDT and restarted the updater. No problem after.
I am now under Catalina and I'am beginning the exploration of new apps.

Try adding to clover boot options -disablegfxfirmware
I have also encountered that issue; after adding that option the screen was purple, but I fixed everything by using the newest WhateverGreen and Lilu kexts.
My mistake... I didn't update them before moving to Catalina

can you provide whatever and lilu kexts for purple screen fix as the latest once from github didn’t work for me

hello working fully for me except airplay and airdrop
juste i fixe error card wifi TL-WDN4800 The system no longer recognized the wireless hardware after install

I was able to install it completely but i cannot boot to it to save my life. I just get a blank screen.
im running an rx570 which should have native support...
Please help!

also now that ive installed it i cannot even reinstall fresh mojave

I was able to start it with my Mojave install stick - then opened Catalina and installed the following kext: Apple ALC (Audio), Gatatekeeper-RW-SSD (to install clover 5090), Lilu and Whatevergreen. And changed it from iMac 14.2 to iMac Pro 1,1. And starting Catalina was no problem with my rRX 570. Hope it will help.

how do i install those kexts if i cant get the os to boot? Is it possible that i have the wrong version of clover and thats why i get the black screen of shame?
Think the usb has 4930 and on the drive i booted to another dive and updated the catalina drive via clover conifg

I have the same. Boots fine and just before the login screen it goes black. Did you solve this?
