Ahh! Yes, you are totally right! Thats a bummer since it looks like a solid upgrade from the G2.

Side note. I just won an auction for a G2 so looking forward to running Mojave when it arrives :headbang:. Thanks in advance for starting and keeping this guide/thread alive!

My experiences with G1, following these instuctructions:
@jhax01: very good and smooth working, sleep, wi-fi - o.k. but only laptop functions, couldn't get tablet functions, I mean not touchscreen.
@Mitsuhiro: almost the same as with jhax01 instructions.
So, maybe I am doing something wrong, but I followed instructions step-by-step.
I will try again with procedure in https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...the-ultimate-os-x-tablet-pretty-close.209600/ - as I can remember, I got a better results with that, only not zoom on touchscreen.
Also, another thing doesn't work in both procedures - sound mute function from keyboard.
Related to sound volume control - is it possible to get this in function with rocker on left side below on/off switch? jhax01 said there is some changing - I suppose with some tweaks and settings in config.plist this can be achieved, but I have no knowlegde for doing this.
My G1 came with Samsung SSD - M.2 NVMe 256 GB model MZ-VLV2560 (PM951 serie), so I tried PikeAlpha's hack for Sierra - https://pikeralpha.wordpress.com/2016/06/27/nvmefamily-kext-bin-patch-data/comment-page-1/#comments - and to confirm it is working o.k. - maybe one can find it useful info.
But didn't get success with High Sierra - without any hack, following advices that there is no need for any hack, because HS has generic support for NVMe drives. Maybe issue is with 512byte block what Samsung drives have.

And 2 things related to BIOS:
- Fasboot option is checked and greyed, so I can not disable it. In some cases - when I change SSD, I have this option to change. I can not see differences when it is 'on' or 'off'. Or I am wrong?
- choosing Video Memory Size more then 64 MB has no effect as I can notice. Or I am wrong?

I have updated to 10.14.6 and suddenly there is no sensor (touch) of display :(
Who knows the possible reason?
Same EFI.

rebuild your kextcache. If that doesn't work, post your troubleshooting files.

Strange but I have tried another config - touch was ok.
Then when I have switched to current one it was somehow fixed and touch now is ok.
Strange but fact.
I'm communicate with expert in hacks now and maybe in couple of days I will get EFI with better CPU work and "polished config".
My last problem is bluetooth is not working now - I got bluetooth icon with BT available devices but I can't to connect to anyone.

Thanks for all of your work jhax01! It's really great to see so many different features working on this 2in1.

It's too bad the CPU clock frequency doesn't drop below 1.3GHz. I was able to get it to drop under 800MHz with a variant of Rehabman's Probook script. I wasn't able to get the touchscreen working though. I attached my CLOVER with working CPU stepping <1.3GHz. My CLOVER is so different from yours that I wouldn't even know where to start.

Any idea what I could do to get this working with your CLOVER?

Bump.

I really love your work with this.. I know you have everything bundled up in your CLOVER.zip, but what exactly did you do to get the touchscreen working? Did you have to apply some patches for I2C TPD0 or TPD1 in your DSDT? Or did you do anything special for VoodooI2C.kext?

No, there shouldn't be any patches necessary other than for OSYS (which you have). Post your troubleshooting files, hard to know where you're going wrong just from your Clover folder.

I replaced the WiFi card of HP Elite x2 1012 G2 with DW1560, but it doesn't become horizontal because there are parts on the back of DW1560. As you can see in the picture, it is diagonal. If this is pressed down, the DW1560 card is foreseen to be damaged. The card slot and the main body are affixed with plastic tape to prevent them from falling out.
How are you all?
Does anyone have a liquid crystal panel attached in this state?

DW1820A is ideal because there are no parts on the back, but it cannot be moved well. I purchase part # CN-0VW3T3.

Thank you.

The DW1560 fits as intended in my G2 without any problems (meaning it fits flush in the slot and can be screwed down correctly). I wonder if the one you have is counterfeit or perhaps there was a design change at some point. The 1820a is too problematic to be a real option in my opinion.
