I tried DVI and I still get no signal. I made sure that Lilu & Whatevergreen are installed in Library/Extensions. I get no signal over HDMI on either port.

I can still boot using onboard graphics. Should I turn off the HD4000 graphics in BIOS?

Please post your EFI folder and a screenshot of what you have in your /Library/Extensions/ folder.

In /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/, you have AptioMemoryFix-64 and OsxAptioFixDrv-64. You can't have both installed. Find the one that works and delete the other.

Also, try replacing your config.plist with the one attached below.

I tried your config file and removed AptioMemoryFix-64. Still no hdmi signal. And now I can’t even get into my bios. Black screen on reboot. I hold down f12 key and nothing happens.

EFI folder can't do anything to prevent booting in to BIOS. BIOS loads BEFORE EFI does.

Make sure that your RX 580 is set as primary display.
Make sure monitor is connected to RX 580.

Thanks pastrychef for all your help!

I got the Radeon RX 570 working. It shows up correctly on About This Mac. I reset my BIOS settings and set the Radeon RX 570 as primary display. I also deleted OsxAptioFixDrv-64.

Monitor works over HDMI. Now I need to solve two other problems.
  1. My monitor does not get a signal on Restart. I have to shut down completely and it works fine on start up.
  2. I have audio over HDMI but no way to control the volume. The sound icon is grayed out. Could this be after replacing the config.plist file?
  3. Also have louder fan noice.
Any guidance on fixing these issues would be appreciated.

If you want to save yourself some time and headaches, install all your hackintosh kexts to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ and delete them from /Library/Extensions/. Set your config.plist > System Parameters > Inject Kexts=Yes.

HDMI audio is handled by WhateverGreen. If HDMI audio isn't working, WhateverGreen may not be loading. Again, try moving your kexts to EFI.

I have moved hackintosh kexts to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ folder. Check the System Parameters and confirmed that Inject Kexts=Yes. I may not have described my sound problem correctly. I do have sound but I can't control the volume using my keyboard keys.

Also, since I replaced my config.plist file with the one you provided, do I have to change my MultiBeast Build? I used the setting from Stork shown in this thread.

You will not be able to control volume from the keyboard if you are using HDMI/DisplayPort audio. When using HDMI/DisplayPort audio, volume must be changed on the monitor.

What about your black screen issue? Has that been resolved?

I don't understand what you mean about change your MultiBeast settings. Once you have a working EFI folder, you don't need to use MultiBeast anymore.
