Good, I continue with my Energy Saver problem, when I am working with battery. Do not lower the screen brightness or go to sleep. I have discovered that if I execute the command in terminal: sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 then the brightness goes down and it starts working. However when I work with ac connected, if everything works fine .... Please ... Any ideas?

I am using hp 8470p laptop and installing Mac OS 10.14. I tried to install kexts according to the following commands:

mkdir ~/Projects
cd ~/Projects
git clone https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch probook.git
cd ~/Projects/probook.git
./download.sh
./install_downloads.sh

But kext is still not installed for the trackpad and keyboard. Can i help me ?

Hello RehabMan, I just got a Probook 450 G6, I didn't see it in the list of your supported machines, so I've attached a file with the required unsupported laptop info. Please let me know if it can be added to the repo, and if you need me to get you any more info or run/test anything. I just got Mojave installed today, and grabbed the required files to upload here, to see if you can add it or not to your repo, before I start installing and configuring everything manually/on my own.

Sorry if this laptop has already been added and I missed it :)

My specs are on the sig, but they are:

Intel i7-8565U, UHD-620 (1920X1080, I've switched my video mem size to256 in BIOS), and NVIDIA MX130, this time around I plan to keep it enabled for Windows, so it is currently active.
I've replaced some components on mine, mainly put in a Samsung 970 EVO, and a Dell DW1560 for BT/WIFI.

The audio codec is Realtek ALC236, currently working with AppleALC/layout 3. I still included the coded dump from Linux (coded#0 and coded#2, codec#1 did not exist, even checked with ls -l /proc/asound/card0).

I retreaved the ACPI tables using the latest Clover, using the latest BIOS (0.1.08.02) released 07/2019.

If you need any more info or files etc, please let me know...

Thanks!

Ok I don’t know why but I can’t boot into Mojave if I don’t boot from the installer. Trying to boot from the hard drive doesn’t even give me a progress bar when on the apple logo.

Edit
problem solved. I copied my boot file and my config.plist from my installer.

I'm having Audio issues with my HP Probook 640 G2.

I just replaced the cover behind my LCD display because of defective Wifi antenna wires. This required a complete disassembly of the notebook and reassembly. Once complete, the computer booted fine and the WiFi works correctly again.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in speakers audio. It does actually see the external audio port though. I then booted into Windows 10 and had the same issue. I shut down the computer, detached the keyboard and checked the speaker connections. Disconnected and moved the wires a bit in case a pinched wire was the problem. Then reconnected the speakers and booted into Windows. The built-in audio was back! Then back to Mojave. Still no speakers! Audio MIDI Setup doesn't show anything but the external audio port.

I rebooted with the '-f' command and rebuilt the kextcache. Still no success! I'm at a loss! BIOS sounds the speakers as does Windows. Just nothing in Mac OS! Any ideas?

Ok so I updated drivers in windows because the compatible wifi card I got wasn’t connecting to the internet in windows and I decided to update the other drivers and now I can’t get into Mojave at all. Need some help team Mac
I'm guessing it's booting directly into Windows? During post, press F9 to bring up Boot Options and select Clover. If this works, you need re-configure your boot order.
