Your answer, leads me to your previous “success” replay without any luck, can you be more specific please. If we use same LG 5K2K monitor why should I get values from real Mac instead of typing yours

Is this is how your Custom Resolution window looks like? @genzai

Thanks for respond @genzai not sure why you uploaded SwitchResX 5120x2160 screen parameters, so + added "Scaled Resolution" 6720x2834 and I ✔ ticked "Scaled resolution base:" 5120x2160

For me 3360x1417 is to dizzy, but now I think I will stick to new 3200 x 1350 resolution which appeared nearby. But anyway I am missing scale possibility, it didn't appear

So ± 100% no luck with this help will wait your respond

I have no idea what you are talking about man. The settings i uploaded are correct, taken from a real mac and working perfectly with hackintosh. If "looks like 3360x1417" makes you "dizzy" i have no idea what to tell you, that is the resolution default for these screens on a mac, so maybe you chose the wrong screen. You can always experiment with other scaled resolutions but on a real mac you are presented with "looks like 3360x1417" and the next step down is all the way to "looks like 2560x1080".

@genzai You legend! Thank you!

For anyone else having the same issue:
  1. Copy the settings for his custom resolution exactly
  2. Click "Activate immediately"
  3. Select the newly available HiDPI of 3360x1417
  4. Set the Scaled Resolutions Base to 5120x2160
  5. Win!

Can anyone do printscreens or screen recording, please. Of the steps to achieve HiDPI with highest resolution. Thank you

Hi all. I have amd 5700xt (bought it just for update to Catalina)
I want to upgrade to wide and retina like 34WK95U. But I see there are problems.

Anyone use 5700xt on catalina with this monitor? If it is OK I will buy one and use it.
