Ask (3 times) and you shall receive
AGPM configured correctly, note IOReg/.../AGPM/max-value/0xf
AGPM not configured correctly, IOReg shows /.../AGPM/max-value/0x3

0x3: threshold graphics power management is enabled, Fermi (5xx) and older
0xf: power state power management is enabled, Kepler (6xx) and newer

so in my case (Pascal) the max-value should be 0xf (which it is), correct?

Hello @toleda. This guide is very interesting but I am having trouble to follow it. My configuration is a little bit different.
My configuration is not even on your table at first post.
Can you help me going through the install process with my hardware. I am looking forward to have a perfect instal and this guide seems to go a little step further on this matter.
I have a 9600K with Gigabyte X390 M Gaming and AMD RX380 4gb Saphire. I use SMBIOS 19,1 that doesn't even exist on your table but it's the closest to my hardware.
I followed your guide to step 4 then I've got lost on IOReg part. I use a headless solution with my config. Intel 630 with AMD RX580. Is this headless solution possible to have with your GPU Power Management?
Can you or someone guide me through it?
Thanks.

Is it possible to do this with 10th generation CPUs? I have 10980xe and Radeon VII, iMacPro definition.

Hello everyone @tonymacx86 :) !
I feel a bit shy to ask about my problem, but since I am not a confirmed programmer/hacker, I just have to assume my ignorance..

I decided to upgrade my hackintosh OS to Mojave, coming along with a new Graphic Card (Sapphire RX580, 4Go). With my previous 550W (Cooler master- Bronze 80+) PSU, the whole computer would just refuse to turn on.
So I found a second hand 600W (cooler master, B600-Ver.2). Now the computer starts, but I have to admit it is pretty broken inside ! It can turn off any second, mostly when it seems to ask the graphic card some acceleration (like, launching some graphic software like Adobe suite, or even worse, when doing 3D), but it can completely shut in your face, when just browsing on the web, or examining a document with preview... Or just, when on its own while you are away from keyboard !!!

So, my investigations led me to here. I would be delighted to have some of you guy's opinion. I could of course suspect the Mobo, the CPU or the Ram sticks (2x8Go, samsung DDR3) to be the source of my problems, but since I have no replacement component to swap and check if it works, I mainly focus on the power management linked to the graphic card.
Now, I use my computer with the internal HD graphic, and everything works fine, appart maybe, from 1 or 2 suspicious reboot... bah :( it is nothing compared to the setup with the RX 580.

Again, I feel sorry to dig out such a massive subject but I was wondering if I had to dig further toward the native discrete GPU PM for my setup, or do I just have to try another PSU (like a 750W or +) or another OS (I started to quesiton about the driver of Mojave hackintosh being optimised for my Z77P-D3)

Thank you, for all the precious feedback and advices you post on this site ! Long live Tonymacx :-D

B.
