After lots of complications, completed hackintoshing my HP Probook 640 G1 with Mojave. before, I tried with High Sierra too. Everything is ok except, bluetooth, wifi and EXTERNAL DISPLAY. I have tried much , but still failed mostly. I followed Rehabman's guide . I patched DSDT and SSDT. the result--- battery meter came perfectly and no external display detected still. hanging on this for past 4 days. please help. thanks. here I attach my EFI folder

You need to configure the DisplayPort from hdmi. Also audio needs to work for it or it crashes.

I don't hav any issues on audio. And this laptop doesn't have HDMI. It has only VGA port.

My 640 g1 has vga (not supported in OSX), and a DisplayPort. No hdmi so if you have DP you need to fix it with patches.

Yes my 640 G1 also has a do port which I hav not used yet... I wonder why VGA is not supported by OSX. I hav installed on some laptops before which were having only VGA support and it was done well.. but this alone is messing lot..

Because it is an obsolete standard.
Apple have not included it in their products for more than 10 years so there is no reason to include it in their operating systems.
