After reading through bunch of threads, I've finalized to buy a used Apple card based on BCM94360CD or BCM943602CS to add native WiFi and Bluetooth support to my Hackintosh build.

I'm leaning towards BCM943602CS which is sufficient for my 200Mbps internet connection and very cheap compared to BCM94360CD.

Question: Is there any reason I should select BCM94360CD over BCM943602CS (e.g. stability and future proofing)?

I'm looking all over the ebay but all the PCIE adapter for BCM943602CS are absurdly expensive ($40) considering it's just a simple adapter.

Question: Do you guys have any recommendation for good and cheaper PCIE adapter for BCM943602CS or BCM94360CD?

Also, I've an empty M.2 slot free on my motherboard, is it possible to utilize that instead of using a PCIE slot?

You can also buy this complete kit on Ebay for a lot less money. You should get adequate speeds with it.

Here's another option from Fenvi. This one costs slightly more and doesn't have a LP bracket.

Thank you @trs96 for the recommendation. I was thinking of getting something similar you suggested or the very popular Fenvi Fv-T919 but there are many people complaining about these things don't work as good as the used Apple cards. Do you think otherwise?

Many people that follow my guides use the first one listed (from angiesonki) in their builds and report no problems. They are of course using custom USB-SSDTs that are designed specifically for their hardware. Some people get fake or defective cards from Ebay and then have problems. AFAIK these are both genuine cards that work.

If you are in the US then buy from Newegg.com and you can easily return it if it won't work for you. No worries.

@trs96 much appreciate your input.

I just purchased a Fenvi FV-HB1200 PCI card for bluetooth/wi-fi on my mid 2010 Mac Pro running Mojave.

How do you connect this card to the motherboard bluetooth connector? I can't find any USB internal ports for the cable.
