MacBook Pro recall necessity as seen in these burn photos

Apple's 2015 MacBook Pro recall details the potential fire risks. These photos show the damage the bad batteries can cause.

If you own one of these take it to your Apple store and get the battery replaced. It could save your home from burning down.

The battery is located just under the trackpad. It actually burned a hole in the underside of this persons MBP. It did this while in sleep mode with the lid closed.

What about Mid-2014? They are almost the same (different gpu and trackpad)

Stores sold the potentially hazardous units between September 2015 and February 2017, according to the Apple support page explaining the battery recall.

Doesn't say anything about a 2014 MBP recall. Check with Apple to make sure.
