[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Hi Rehab, hope you are fine, for me your tutorial work and i thank you very much, but there is a problem, i got internet by ethernet but the speed is not my true speed can you help me ? Maybe i've done something wrong. By advance Thank you.

1. Yes
2. Generate a new serial number
3. I'm not sure what other functionality you are referring too. As far as I know Rehabman had everything working and I just followed his guide until bios updates and changes in Mojave prompted us here in the forum to figure out how to work with this changes. I can't really take credit for any of it, just here to help.
Okay I have been reading too much that I thought 1 user managed workable wifi on this thread sr lol,
it seems that I had the same problems as @zzmadd with cracking audio despite following your exact efi folder, I will try the reply that you just wrote for @zzmadd.

A few users have opted to give up their M2 slot and have gotten wifi/bluetooth working with a pin adapter for an airport card, you can read about it starting somewhere after page 40 here.

I can confirm that i used the same EFI folder from your 903#legendary post. With the same kexts and drivers 64uefi AND I still have bad audio through the jack. Here includes the EFI folder, if you dont mind pls have a look at it so that you can give me some sort of fix or directions to go?
Note: as i have said b4, I am running on BIOS 56 could this have been the cause ?

Hey @zzmadd. A couple of things to think about, I believe HDMI audio is available through FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kexts. I would also add CodecCommander.kext (see screen shot). Additionally I recommend you move your kexts from 10.14 to the "Other" folder.

I also noticed your config.plist could use some changes in Devices/ Audio. In the second screen shot your config.plist is on the left, mine is on the right. Notice the difference showing Audio Inject Number 11. I use Xcode to edit and that's what that screen shots is from. My whole EFI Folder is in this thread in post number 903 if that is easier, it should work for you.

hi @Leesureone thanks a lot for your reply.

I tried your EFi as per Post #903 and exactly the same cracking and general lack of quality is what happens to the audio through the headphone jack port.

HDMI Audio works even without FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext.
HDMI Audio works well in fact, is headphone jack audio that works really bad.

As I said using your EFI from post #903 makes no difference. I tested the whole EFI including your SSDTs.

Do you have idea why that happens?
Should I update the Bios to the latest?

is this just an issue of us two? Nobody else had these huge lack of quality in the headphone jack audio using AppleALC?

I really hopes that this is because of the BIOS since most users that uses #903 EFI and reported nothing back have much higher version than ours
