Swapped to MemoryFix but there's a looping kernel panic issue

You should be using AptioMemoryFix.efi instead of AptioFix2Drv.efi, didn't check any further, reinstall latest clover with correct settings.

Thanks for confirming this, guide should be updated during those two weeks and also posted on the macOS Mojave Laptop Guide for the macOS Mojave.

Yeah, I've swapped out with AptioMemoryFix and tried to search for the reason of the panic with not very much luck. I'll post a picture of the PANIC details

Alright, Pretty sure I got this right (sorry if I haven't, I haven't done some of this stuff in quite a while), Heres a copy of the CLOVER Folder (with preboot.log inside misc) as well as the screenshot above.

Hello @Sniki

Just wondering if the current SSDT-T440.aml on your GitHub page also works for High Sierra?
I have been using my T440 with High Sierra following your guide, using the original version of SSDT-T40.aml where the battery does not work. However, today I replace the old SSDT-T440.aml with the new one. Battery works, but suddenly I lost audio.

Should I remove the ALC3232.kext and use AppleALC.kext instead? If so, do I still need the alc_fix?

I am planning to keep using High Sierra and not upgrading to Mojave.

Thanks in advance.

Guides should be up tomorrow, (High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina)
Keep in mind that a lot of stuff has changed.
For audio now we switched to AppleALC.

So best suggestion would be to remove all kexts installed and install the ones from my guide.
Replace the config.plist with the newer one, just make sure to copy smbios values if you had iMessage working.
And replace SSDT-T440.aml with the newer one.
Alc_fix is still needed even with AppleALC

Thanks for responding.
Yes, I realize that a lot has changed since I build one last year.
Will work on some hardware stuff in my T440 before doing the update.
Thanks again for a very good guide and fixes this far. Eagerly waiting for the next guide from you.

Hi @Sniki Thanks for reading my reply.

Lately, acidanthera has just released VoodooPS2 kext which support fully-functional native multi-gestures for the touchpad. I has been using it since it was released and it works great on the laptop. I think that you should recommend people to use this kext on the next Mojave guide instead of the version from rehabman which was a bit old. Despite there was some trouble, but I think that if you switch over this kext, those will be fixed easily as this kext was forked from RehabMan.

+ The trackpoint doesn't work
+ It recognize the function of F4, F7, F8 as F4, F7, F8, not its functions though.

I hope that you will consider this kext for guide. Thanks.

Thanks,

One question though, do you have the touchscreen model or non-touch, i need to find the SSDT-USB that i remember i created for someone who had touchscreen model. (nvm will find it on the forums).

I don't recommend this yet, yes they have changed it to use native multitouch from VoodooI2C.kext but there are problems with that.
People with Touchscreen model i believe use the VoodooI2C.kext to have working touchscreen,VoodooPS2 from Acidanthera has conflicts with the VoodooI2C kexts resulting in kernel panics and being unable to boot the installer or the os itself. as they ported the engine from VoodooI2C.kext and so does VoodooI2C.kext, instead what they could've done is make this kext a VoodooI2C satellite instead to avoid this problem. They too are aware of the issue and they will do some changes about that so at this point they have two solutions:
Have Alexandred separate the Engine from the kext itself and make the engine a separate kext so both can be built from the engine or make VoodooPS2 as a VoodooI2C Satellite kext.
Like you said if trackpoint doesn't work even if you were using my SSDT-T440.aml which includes the ClickPad code for Trackpoint and the FN buttons then there's no point to lose many thinks for just gestures, although it will be up to peoples choice what they pick.

For now all i know is that it's not ready and i do not recommend it.

Sorry, mine is non-touch screen.
