Is there any way to increase the allotment of video memory to the iGPU higher than 1536mb? I seem to recall seeing some software solution for this at some point, but I can't find it.

Using the latest 3.3 Config, I have allotted 2GB of VRAM to my iGPU. It was one of the improvements a few revisions back. You should be able to copy what is in the Devices -> IntelGFX -> Properties field to implement the change.

I still have a few small issues with waking after sleep such as USB ports sometimes being disabled, and my USB-C (Dell D59GG) ethernet adapter doesn't work and it did under the other config.

Try the KNNSpeed method in the thunderbolt folder.

Yea what he said. The specific one is unifiedmem, it's probably like 15 pages back but lucky for you it's on my desktop still. Add or remove the patch if you want 1.5 or 2.

Adding that patch fixed the issue. I can now use the Type-C ethernet adapter with my hackintosh. Yay! Now, I just need to replace that wireless card. :)

Thank you.

Ah yes, this worked, thanks. I first hackintoshed this laptop back in March, and so my .plist is also from around that time. Manually added some of the tweaks you added since, I guess I just missed this one.

Has anybody noticed that the power usage jumps after the laptop is woken from sleep? If I let the laptop idle after boot, I use about 10-11watts. If I put the laptop to sleep and then wake it up, the computer idles at about 20watts. If I reboot, it goes back down to the previous 10-11watts. Something is happening after sleep mode. This is with the same brightness and no programs running, except for coconutBattery to measure power usage.

I tried cleared the NVRAM a couple times. I tried the regular Clover zip in the first post and also tried updated KEXTS. It's annoying as if I don't reboot, then the battery drains twice as fast.

Yes. The only way for me to get 6hrs of battery is to reboot after unplug. Thought I was the only one so did not bother posting

At the beginning I would like to thank you for your work so far Blazinsmokey. However, I have one problem related to GPU performance. During the Novabench benchmark the application shows unknown gpu and only 1024Mb Vram, in addition, the result significantly deviates from the average for this GPU. What can cause this behavior? I use the Kaby Lake Clover provided by you.

Use the latest Clover one, we are only using kabylake now.
I won't be able to verify this for a few days and your debug files would be helpful to know exactly what you're using.

Interesting, I won't have time to troubleshoot this currently. Did you do the speed step bios hack? How reliable is this coconutBattery app?

You can try disabling HWP in the config.plist see if that changes things.
You could also try and disable CPUFriend with boot arguments "-cpufoff"
Keep in mind then the laptop won't idle down to 0.8Ghz and will do as what a MBP 14,1 would do which IIRC is 1.3GHz.
Mix and match the options above and let us know.
