[Guide] Dell Inspiron 15 7559 (skylake)

Great! Make sure you have the proper kexts installed in library/extensions as per the guide, brightness and audio should be working if the guide is followed.
What kext do you think would allow me to change the brightness? Because I installed all of the kexts from mojavefiles>desktop>systemkexts and brightness still won't work

Hi, I followed the guide and successfully install the osx on hard drive. Then i install clover on hard drive. But the clover on hard drive cant boot the osx. The system reboot on panic. If i use clover on usb and select the safe mode, the system boot again. Another problem is the dsdt compile with error: "48, 6126, syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_EXP_MULTIPLY". Any advise?
and efi partition cant be mounted on mojave. neither do windows partitions.

It appears to be a syntax error, maybe try deleting that line and compiling it, BUT make sure to copy that line Incase the whole thing doesn’t work after, it’s worth a shot

Thanks a lot. I successfully update my laptop to mojave. Still one small question to ask. I could only boot my usb installer drive use the clover version 4674 from v1 and v2 archive which will take a long time about 30 minutes but at least it can boot. If i use version 4934 from mojavefiles10.14.5 will encounter panic then reboot. How can i make the usb drive boot use the clover version 4934?

I have a question what kexts should I use in order to have sound and adjustable brightness, as well as to stop having the battery say that it is at 0% all the time?

replace your "clover" folder with the one attached, it should let you boot. Afterwards, you'll need to update the kexts you installed in library/extensions to the newest versions.

attach your EFI folder and list kexts installed to L/E

So here is the EFI but brightness and the battery status doesn't work as well as sleep and wake, so I think I might have outdated kexts
Here is the list of my kexts in L/E

ACPIBatteryManager.kext
ACS6x.kext
AppleALC.kext
AppleBacklightInjector.kext
ArcMSR.kext
ATTOCelerityFC8.kext
ATTOExpressSASHBA2.kext
ATTOExpressSASRAID2.kext
BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext
BrcmNonPatchRAM2.kext
BrcmPatchRAM2.kext
CalDigitHDProDrv.kext
CodecCommander.kext
FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext
FakePCIID.kext

ACPI files not patched, audio or brightness as well as several other features won’t work without it.
