hi, i just follow the guide. But can't boot the usb installer. Any help?

The problem is solved. I thought it's stucked but after waiting for several minutes the install screen appears.

Hi, I followed the guide up and everything looked to be going great and all but then the laptop reboots and won't install.

Then the computer restarts and I have to try to do the install again.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try putting the "sample patched" files from mojavefiles/ACPI to your ACPI/Patched/
(This is temporary, once you are able to boot follow the guide and patch your own DSDT)

When you installed Clover you did not select boot for UEFI only, try the following:
delete the folders "drivers32UEFI" and "drivers64" and the file "CLOVERIA32.efi"
Make sure your bios is in line with the guide.

IF that does not work, you may need to reinstall clover and select boot for UEFI only, details are in the guide

I deleted those folders, move the patched files, and reinstalled clover and nothing has changed, it still gets to :IOConsoleUsers:gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0
and reboots

Your Kext folder is not correct. You need to delete all folders except "Other" and place all your kexts in the "Other" folder. Additionally, make sure you are using the config file from the mojavefiles folder.

Side note, are you sure you have this laptop? Your profile says Intel Core i3, but the Inspiron 7559 does not have that option.

I am using the config file that was in the Mojave files 3, and I deleted those folders and still no dice, I'm going to now try a config file for the laptop
