he does not need all those fixes in config.plist/ACPI, he has wrong usb patches (unrelated to his issue though). he set Video Ports to 5, which is not needed

Ah. I missed the 5.

I ended up starting with @justinhe 's fix. No option in BIOS.
Black screen via DP.
Restarted.
Stuck on load. Last lines read:

Start RandomSeed
End RandomSeed
+++++++++++++++++++

Should I recover my old confi via clover's terminal, or should i try something else first?

Try my config.plist and remove the 5. Leave blank.

That's because your BIOS has CFG Lock enabled, and you can not see the option, it is hidden. You don't have to go back to old configs, just check KernelPM box under 'Kernel and Kexts Patches', this option is used to fix the CFG Lock thing.

@pastrychef I got a "clover configurator could not be synchronized b/c an error occurred: Encountered empty <integer> on line...
Should I make:
- make the change in a text edit (ie leave it blank)
- remove the entire integer line
- remove the integer + videoPorts key line
- other?

Delete the part in blue.

I already swapped it for pastrychef's...

try this one, you won't get the '++++++++++++' error again. i just check the KernelPM box for you.
