hi all. wondering if anyone could help. bit new to hackintosh and had a dell n5110 sat about (2nd gen i3 variant), without looking into full compatibilty thought id try get high sierra on it. so far ive..created a usb install of the high sierra image on app store using unibeast 8.3.2 from here. intially when creating the usb picked the uefi setting but wouldnt boot.. so remade changing to legacy, which it now boots but gets to the part of mac os where it asks for a keyboard and mouse and i cant get either the track pad of inbuilt keyboard to respond...tried a wireless usb keyboard mouse combo that didnt work and a standard usb keyboard that also didnt work..might be worth mentioning these usb devices have only been plugged in via usb 3.0 as the only usb 2.0 has the mac usb install..is it worth me getting a standard usb mouse and trying? does mac os need to see both keyboard and mouse? should i get a usb 2.0 and try through there? i did see a post regarding a fix in the options for usb but from what i can tell the usb fix is on and has been from default.. any ideas what im doing wrong or where to go? many thanks
