Hi there,

I recently updated my OS on my first (and only) Hackintosh from Mavericks to El Capitan following various guides on here. It all seems to have worked well, few issues but functionality is there. I need to upgrade now to High Sierra. I would really appreciate any help and advice in order for me to do this successfully. I have read the guides on here but I hope no one minds me asking to see if I can get a tailored instruction as I use my machine regularly for work so I cant really afford to mess it up! I need to make sure I have the correct kexts for my upgrade.

My build is based around a GAZ77 DS3H motherboard, i5 3570k, Corsair Vengeance DDR3 32gb, TP Link wireless, IO gear bluetooth 4.0 so it is an old original build. My OS is on a Crucial 250gb SSD and I have 4 additional Barracuda 7200rpm drives for data. I ditched Multibeast and used Clover (as per TonyMac recommendations) when upgrading to El capitan. My profile is showing as a Mac Mini Server (late 2012).

Happy to post anything to help me upgrade seamlessly. Many thanks to anyone who helps/reads this!

Clone your existing installation.
Test the clone.
On the clone upgrade Clover and kexts to latest versions.
Test the clone.
Upgrade the clone to High Sierra.

This way you can always get back to where you started if things go wrong.
