Hi, everyone,
I have a Lenovo Ideapad 320 14iKB
And I've successfully installed MacOS Mojave
Everything works except for three things: sleep, wifi and bluetooth
I took all EFI and kexts from:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-mojave-on-lenovo-ideapad-320-15ikb-model-80yh.261428/
(Of course I changed the serial number)
My problem with sleep,
I put the laptop into sleep and he in sleep after a few seconds. But when I try to wake it up everything does not respond and the entire system gets stuck and the only way to get it out is to do a hard reset.
Is something missing for sleep to work properly?
I already realized that because the card inside my laptop, WiFi and Bluetooth will never work (I have a Realtek built-in card)
So I ordered BCM94350ZAE and after a few good days of experiments I realized I made a mistake in this choice. And I did not have to order this card
I tried every guide I found.
Each time there is a kernel panic and when there is no, so the card is not recognized, the closest I managed to activate it the whole system is made is unresponsive and unstable
Something very strange !!
So I gave up and realized I had to buy the bcm94352z
So Ok after all this digging, I'd like to ask a few questions about this card because I've seen guides and comments on it but I wanted to ask myself.
I realized that he had two versions of DELL and one of Lenovo to the extent that I would buy DELL's. Would he work on my laptop? Or is it better to buy Lenovo?
Do you offer better cards? There are known issues on this card (bcm94352z) or is it simple to buy and install some kexts and everything should work (2.4G, 5G bluetooth, airdrop, handoff etc)?
Hope I asked everything. If there are other things I need to know about the issues I presented here I would love to hear.
I'll attach my EFI folder in case you want to check everything (probably)(I deleted all the kexts that were used during the attempts to install the card)
Waiting for your response
Thanks
Itay
