Nvidia was only mentioned once at WWDC and it had nothing to do with using their cards in a Mac.

I put my 2080 away for now and order a 780 that is natively supported in Mojave

yes a 580 can perform much faster than a 780 but I honestly don't care

because my 2080 can perform much faster than a 580
why spend money?

I was going to buy the 2080 TI and I settle for the 2080
because the TI was like 300 or 500 more

to then spend money now on a AMD card that I don't like
I don't think so apple, I rather buy an old Nvidia card
and save some money and keep my dignity

also the design in those reason vii is extremely ugly
many users here don't care but I care, I have a clear panel case with water cooling
I don't want my system looking all ugly

is a rule that the colors and brand must match

I wonder whether Intel's upcoming XE graphics card will be a competitor with NVIDIA and get native macOS support.

yes they only mentioned Nvidia once to throw dirt at it, talking about that AMD CARDS are faster on Mac os
of course they are, the drivers are optimized by apple

but flip the coin and Nvidia cards smoke AMD cards on windows

also Nvidia recently release a new line of laptops called studio laptops, well something like that

so Nvidia also took a jab at apple

Nvidia claims that those laptops are around 6x times fasters than Mac books pro when it comes to video editing

Seems like every thread featuring an Apple OS update brings out the Nvidia issue. I have moved on. I like the OS, I like some of the features in Mojave and spent some money on keeping my rig up to date. Yea, I put a decent Nvidia card in the junk box and may stick it in a build for my kid. No big deal. I think it will get solved in the future, but no need to waste years of my life angry about my card not working vs getting one that works well. Also by the time new drivers are out, these cards that folks are clinging too will be a few generations back.

I am looking forward to 10.15 and will keep staying current. The sidecar feature alone has me sold.
