Firstly, I would like to thank @RehabMan for his guide on the HP ProBook series laptops:
After following through all of the steps and with some additional tweaks (Sinetek-rtsx kext for PCI-E Card Reader & Layout 21 ID in SSDT for headphone jack), I've been able to get pretty much everything working, excluding WiFi & BT (I've purchased a Broadcom BCM94352Z and am currently waiting for it to arrive). I do have one problem though, which I can't seem to find a solution for. I am unable to get any external displays to connect to my Hack, neither through the HDMI and/or VGA port (Don't have the hardware to test the USB-C / DisplayPort currently).
I have tested both of the above mentioned ports under Ubuntu and they work perfectly, however MacOS doesn't seem to detect any external displays when I connect them. I have also tried booting with an external display connected, but to no avail, as only the internal display is detected.
I'm attaching my debug report to this post and would be really grateful if someone could assist me in resolving this issue, as I can't seem to find any other users who have reported this problem on this model of laptop and it's quite puzzling to me.
