hi @MacDaddy123 , can you explain the challenges/obstacles you found when updating from 10.14.4 to 10.14.5 and how did you solve them?
Thanks!

QUESTION: For updating 10.14.4 to 10.14.5 in HP Probook laptop that has followed this thread's guide, do I have to do anything special? or just normally update from the "Software Updare" in System Preferences? (BTW: I updated Clover to rev. 4920)
HD 3000 Graphics is officially not supported in Mojave and any hacks to make it work are not stable in the slightest. Easiest and most recommended for CPUs with HD 3000 is to simply stay in High Sierra.

updated successfully too 10.14.5
Now Chrome and Firefox are not rendering web pages correctly & flickering.
Anyone else see this too?
Make sure Clover is up-to-date, and that you've run all your Post-Installation steps in Post #1 after each update.

ZBook_G2_haswell _alc280

run install_acpi.sh ZBook_G2_haswell _alc280

cp: ./build/SSDT-FAN_alc280.aml: No such file or directory
SSDT-IGPU.aml SSDT-zbG2h.aml

where is SSDT-FAN_alc280.aml? Did you forget it in build.sh ?
re-run ./install_acpi.sh ZBook_G2_haswell_alc280.

You had an error in your command line.

Hey guys, after installing 10.14.5 somehow my files keeps disappearing. I copied some files in the HDD and opened them. Even though they are open, the files inside the folder have vanished. This has happened before as well but only on 10.14.5.
I created the partition as exFAT so that I have write permissions as well. Both Mojave and Windows 10 are installed on an M.2 SSD and my primary storage is an HDD from which the files keep disappearing.
Rebooting also doesn't fix the problem.
What could be the issue? It's really frustrating.
Thanks.

exFAT is a file system developed for flash drives and has little or no resilience which means that the slightest error can result in the loss of all of your data. Sharing the drive between operating systems multiplies the risk of corruption.
If you value your data do not use exFAT.

Is there any file system I can use that works for both? Like FAT32?

FAT32 is your only option for extStorage, besides that you gotta use 3rd party tools to allow NTFS write permissions inside macOS, and another 3rd party tool to allow APFS/HFS+ write operations in Windows.

Thanks, but I am asking specifically for the update from Mojave 10.14.4(which I already have installed correctly following rehab's guide into my Probook 450 G5) to Mojave 10.14.5. My graphics card is reported as "Intel UHD Graphics 620 1536 MB"

I am not sure if there is any specific procedure that I must follow to make this small update, or if I can just update normally from the "Software Update" in my System Preferences

Make sure your Clover is up-to-date, and if that is updated you can just update like a normal Mac, then run ./install_downloads.sh after the update completes.

@RehabMan do you have any suggestion on how to fix / debug this?
I don't have any clue on how to solve it... coud it be related to the fact that the storage is a SSD m2?
(are there any ktext required?)

it was my mistake obviously... I encrypted the fylesystem during the installation, but then forgot to add the proper kext: this was probably the reason I was not able to boot

I solved this some months ago by redoing the installation properly but then today I realized that was important to provide a feedback here
