pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Weird... I can't think of anything that can cause this... Please post your EFI and I'll see if there are anything obvious that you may have missed.

Thanks! Here is my EFI folder!

Any help is appreciated.

Please make a backup of your existing EFI folder, then try this config.plist to see if it helps. Also, try removing WhateverGreen.kext from /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/.

I posted EFI r5.0.1. It includes Clover r4930 which fixes auto detection of IGPU on 9th gen CPUs and latest USB 15 port limit patches.

It did not restore iTunes DRM functionality for me. The shikigva argument for WhatevrGreen will break VDA Decoder support.

If you need working DRM, please try using iMacPro1,1 system definition.

Thanks! I removed whatevergreen and replaced with your config file. Now DP doesn't work but one of the two HDMI worked for the boot screen and Clover Boot menu. Once macOS is selected, the monitor becomes blank. Is this normal?

For the config file, was there anything in particular that you did? I compared both in detail, and I saw that mine did have Devices > Audio > Inject set to 2 instead of nothing. Besides that, they seemed identical.

Try the EFI r5.0.1.

  1. Download load the EFI folder.
  2. Replace the config.plist with the one from post #6615.
  3. Replace the entire EFI folder in your EFI partition.

@pastrychef So, I've purchased a brand new (and different) PCI-E adapter, brand new MacBook BT/WiFi card (3 antennas this time) and used it to replace mine. Unfortunately, as I suspected, the BT issues are still happening. Now I am also seeing WiFi issues, where my packets are get lost once in a while, completely, while the OS claims the WiFi connection to the network is just fine.

I don't know why you are getting connection problems. What other devices around you are using 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectrum? I don't think there's any software that can help with this.

Remember, even USB 3 devices can cause interference with Bluetooth and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. I had to deal with USB 3 interference on my old MacPro5,1 too. You can test both in Windows or Linux to make sure it's not a software issue.

Out of curiosity, how are you building the r4930 clover installer with the latest commits? That is, assuming you are since r4920 is the latest package available for download on SourceForge. Thanks.
