About Noctua, have you to shave it down to have a 5mm clearance, correct?
Hi, yes but please take it slow and check and do it again,The material is quite soft and has a tendency to
go even more if you do it quick but at the end yes my clearance was 5mm you also have to give a slight
angle.

About the kit belongs to laserhive, can support the weight of the motherboard and cooler?

No Problem there, it can even handle 3 times the weight it is quite sturdy, 5mm is quite thick.

Hi,

As I explained in the thread, between the motherboard plate and the standoffs, there is quite a gap where I hid all my cabling, leaving no cables at all. You can try that if you want.

Great idea, but I'll see if I can make the whole acrylic that even the example I sent, so it will look like the MacPro board.

As you can see in these pictures, all the cables are kept in 1 line and fixed with a taped to each other, this came to my mind while doing it, because I hate to see cables :) it really helped me to hide all the cables, please look at the cable height and the standoffs, you will see that all the cables are below the motherboard standoffs.

It was very good.
In my case I want to go behind the acrylic, and in case I should put a dark vinyl sticker to hide even more.
Hi,

I also thought about doing that but in case I need to disassamble it, it would be harder to arrange them also the back of the motherboard could get even hotter which could damage the sticker over time, if you had to put it, I would strongly urge you to use Aluminum tape for better insulation.

A cleaning doubt, what you use to remove marks of use and scratches in MacPro, because I bought used and has several scratches, and this bothers me.
Hi,

Hi, please do not use any polish brush, the aluminium in andonized, let me tell you what I did?
I used cellulose thinner, which did a great job, I cleaned all the parts with it, and I am very happy with the results.
