Hello!
Im having a pretty weird issue, and let me tell you why its weird.
So I ran through the installation and everything was fine, final boot from the USB into Mojave was awesome. Everything is working. All iCloud apps, ethernet AND USB 3.0. The only thing that is not working after the first boot from the USB was Audio. I follow the Installation Guides steps and ran multibeast and installed the UEFI bootloader, I figured since ethernet and USB 3.0 is working just fine i don't need to install any of those drivers. I guess I was wrong. After unplugging the USB and booting straight from the drive itself, I lost Ethernet connection, and USB 3.0. I have been messing around with kexts and managed to get audio working but still no ethernet and no USB 3.0. It just doesnt make sense because it was working before i ran multibeast.
Here are all the kexts I have installed right now.
Also just want to put my method for installing kexts, incase im doing it wrong, i place the kext in Library/Extensions and run kextbeast.
Thanks for any advice!

Specs:
MSI Z270 SLI PLUS
i7 7700k

Try uninstalling the kexts GenericUSBXHCI.kext and XHCI-200-series-injector.kext and adding XHCI-unsupported.kext and IntelMausiEthernet.kext

Went ahead and did that. Fixed ethernet (Thankyou!) , but USB 3.0 is still not working. As always, USB 2.0 is working fine, but USB 3.0 still nothing. I read somewhere about USB Port Limits or something like that? Is that what ill have to do or do you think its just finding the right kexts?

  • Without seeing your whole CLOVER as zipped file from your System Disk, I am unable to suggest what might be good for you.

  • If you can find SSDT specifically for your Motherboard, that is the best option.
  • Methods to create your own can be found if you search this Forum or elsewhere.
