Just to let you guys know, williambj1 found a way to enable the trackpad on the base 2018 and advanced 2019 model (ELAN0406). Just tried it and it's working for me!

This is the link:

Basically what you need is to edit your DSDT:

1. Find your trackpad in your DSDT (mine is TPD0) and note the name in the Scope above it. For me it's _SB.PCI0.I2C0.
2. Search for the method named SSCN and make sure the Scope is identical to your trackpad device (e.g. I2C0).
3. CUT methods SSCN and FMCN (should be right below SSCN).
4. Go back to your trackpad device (TPD0) and paste both methods just below the _INI method outside your Device block but inside of the Scope (make sure Scope and Device are identical e.g. I2C0 and TPD0).
5. Reboot, enjoy!

The cursor is a little jumpy and unresponsive at times unfortunately, but it's working.

Edit: slight correction of where to insert the new methods..

This is really great, the only thing missing it is the web drivers for the new RTX graphic cards, that hopefully Apple will release them at some point.

Thanks a lot for the info!

So for now ive done settings. But. Battery life on MacOS is poor - about 3 hours (on Windows its about 6-7 hours)

It's a hackintosh, don't expect it to be perfect lol. That's on par with what everyone else is getting with this laptop

To get about 4 hours i've found two programms, that can help - Volta (to undervolt processor and limit power in watts)

Hi, I'm having some issues trying to update to the latest version of high sierra 2019-002 from the 17G2208.

I am not very sure if its the storage option that I selected would be the main cause of the failed attempt to update to the latest version. In the Section 3 of the guide, it stated to select 'Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)' for the partition but i think i selected APFS instead.

The trackpad is working fine but the battery indicator on the task bar shows 0% even after letting it charge.

I leave the link to my google drive for the image relating to the issues.

Link to Drive.

Is it normal that u're unable to boot into recovery drive too ?

Thanks for the help :)

Instructions to update OSX are in the guide. You need to download the update from the App Store like a real Mac and let it start to install, once it reboots to finish the install, you need to boot off of the flash drive you made to install OSX from scratch and select the update install from that Clover boot menu. The install will fail every time if you try to just reboot and boot the laptop like normal.

Battery percentage only showing 0% means you either didn't patch your DSDT correctly or you didn't install the ACPIBatteryManager kext correctly.

The stock OSX Recovery Drive/Partition on a hackintosh is useless to my knowledge, hence keeping your USB Installer handy.

Oh thanks I finally manage to update to the latest version. Apparently, like what you said after downloading the latest version it move to the apple logo screen with the 'Installing software update' screen. Shortly after it will reboot. Instead of booting into clover bootloader, you should press F12 to the boot menu and boot to the flash drive with the 17G2208 image.

Thanks a lot :) and I was messing around with the efi boot and my window is gone  should have backup after installing window. Meanwhile I try fix the Battery percentage issues.
