Hi, @markoskz! Now I am trying to boot macOS with a similar motherboard and it is stucks... My problem is described here. Can you help me???

Hi, @oxygenium95 , my EFI folder and the configuration is optimized for a construction with a GPU. It is not only for HD630, since there change some values as the SMBios that is recommended 18.1

@markoskz - has your new WiFi/BT module arrived yet? Were you able to get it working?

I've been using my new Hackintosh for several weeks now, and it has started doing something odd: The sound stops working from time to time. I *think* it is related to putting the computer to sleep, but not always. When the computer is freshly booted up, sound works perfectly out of the front panel output jack. Sometimes after the computer has been sleeping for several hours, when it wakes up, there is no more sound. The headphones jack is still detected by the OS and the output is set there... rebooting always brings the sound back.

One other clue: Sometimes the sound seems to get very loud and then very quiet - for instance, when watching a youtube video of someone speaking over some background music, when they are not speaking, the sound gets quite loud so you can clearly hear the background music, then when they start speaking again, their first word is very loud then suddenly gets quieter so you can barely hear the background music, but their voice is normal. It's like something is trying hard to "normalize" the audio in software. This happens on just about everything - not just a single YouTube video... happens in games, when listening to music, etc.

Any ideas on any of my sound issues?

Thanks!

Hi, @quangdog Sorry for the delay in responding, I was moving from home, I already have the module, it only remains to prove it, even build another Hackintosh for my sister with an i3 8300 and an asrock motherboard, it is also mini itx, I'm almost sure the adapter will work there, but not in mine, because I read several articles, and many have not been successful installed the adapter and the module in the Wifi / Bt connection of Cnvi, I hope in this week I take the time to install it even in the other pc that I'll tell you, I'll be reporting any news.

Oh by the way, those errors that I had that the mouse was left with the colored ball for a few seconds and the data that appeared on the console, apparently it was for my SSD A400 Kingston, since I had my home folder there, then I went back to place my home folder in the NVme and now I do not have those lags, everything works great, everything fast.

I was testing the sound, as you told me, connect the hearing aid in the front of the cabinet then I put the system to rest, then activate it and the sound is still normal, it does not cut me. The other problem with the volume I did not have it, you installed some equalizer or some add-on that modified the sound like the Boom app, I remember when I had High Sierra OSX I installed a complement (I do not remember what it was) that I changed the output device in the audio, I had to select another one in the audio output options (preferences-sound-output), but I did not have at any time that error that I lowered the volume, maybe it is the headset or speakers you have. :D

@markoskz First congratulations to nice build and tutor.
I have same main board GA z390i but with only HD630 and Samsung NVMe 970plus and not successfully installation yet.
Hi, @thanhvo31 , I have read in several publications that they do not recommend the Plus version of thw Samsung 970 NVMe SSD, since there are problems in the installation, you should try to install the system in another ssSSDd, and then clone it to the NVMe, I have the 970 EVO NVMe SSD version, it worked wonders.

If there is anything else that can help you, do not forget to communicate, Regards

Awesome build! I am looking to do the same. I noticed that some of your Amazon links are incorrect.

Hi, @Squid89 Thank you very much for commenting, I had not noticed sorry. It is fixed

Has anyone had any luck getting a WIFI and BT solution for this mobo?

@Squid89 - if you look back in this thread to my earlier posts you can see that I did get WiFi working with a 3rd party module, but no BT. @markoskz is still planning to try another WiFi/BT module to see if it works, but we are still waiting for him to have time and parts to complete that test.

Hi @quangdog, I have read through the thread and noticed no one had posted about success with both (WIFI and BT). I was asking to see if anyone else, who hasn't posted yet, has had success. Hopefully someone finds a solution :)
