[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Thanks Man, I find the problem, the PCI extension cable is the problem, IM using a thermaltake core p5, I remove the cable adapter, connect the RX580 direct to the Mobo, the problem is gone, here is the IORegistryExplorer just in case, now I'm using the HDMI port and is working but the image flickers ones in a wile, (Im think is the HDMI cable is old), maybe i have a bad setting somewhere, I was moving the setting a little bit trying to find the problem.
At this point I don't know if everything is correct. Iwil aprecite all your help!!!
Also the Radeon RX580 have to more display ports, can I use any of this ones to? I dont have any adapter Is why Im asking before buying. Im buying a HDMI any recommendation?
Thanks again for all your help.
Glad you solved the main problem. Several comments:
  • A good HDMI cable that is rated for 4K60 (HDMI 2.0 compliant) is highly recommended.
  • You can certainly use the additional video ports (DisplayPort) on the RX 580. It can drive multiple monitors.
  • I would recommend using straight DP-to-DP cable or HDMI-to-HDMI cable (not converters/adapters). Most current-generation monitors have both HDMI and DP inputs.

Thanks working on selecting a wood cable.
Do you think the HDMI cable is the problem whit the Flickering?
Did you have a chance to take a look in to my ORegistry file? Just thinking if everithing is ok.
Thanks again @CaseySJ. You ROCK.

Two suggestions based on your IOReg:
  1. Your iGPU is configured properly in headless mode, but with macOS 10.14.4 it is better to use Platform ID 0x3E980003 instead of 0x3E910003 (for headless operation).
  2. I recommend updating the Thunderbolt SSDT in CLOVER/ACPI/patched folder with the new version in Post-Install Files.zip. The new file is SSDT-Z390-DESIGNARE-TB3HP-V4.aml.

Thanks man I will make this changes a soon as I'm done with this work.
Appreciate.
Grate work thanks again.

BCM943602CS antennas:View attachment 396806

The Bluetooth range is very small with my BCM943602CS.
I got the BCM943602CS but my PCI adapter is a little different than yours, its the one on Amazon recommended by the OP. My Bluetooth range seems great. I walked out of the room and the keyboard was still working.

Interesting -- I never noticed the difference in Mhf4 antenna connectors between 94360CS2 and 943602CS! I have the first one (BCM94360CS2) with two connectors. My PCIe x1 adapter has 3 antennas, but I use only 2. More recently I've switched to the Fenvi FV-T919 with...yes...four antennas. :)
So, I just got the BCM943602CS, and it works really well, great range. Keyboard works in BIOS/Clover. Air Drop working OOB.
Thanks for the tip!

@CaseySJ, Just notice the RX580 Fans are not working, any ideas?
Thanks again.
Thasts maybe the flickering.
Are this fans in Auto mode? I look again and they on and off.
crazy!

If you connect bluetooth keyboard or mouse to BCM943602CS, are you able to wake the computer via it?

This probably indicates:
  • Bad PCI power connection. Try reconnecting the 6-pin or 8-pin PCI power cable.
  • Bad slot insertion. Make sure card is fully seated in the PCIe slot.
  • Insufficient power. For i9-9900K with discrete graphics, I recommend nothing less than 750W power supply.

Yes this should be possible. I'll make a note to test it this evening.
