I would leave it on its own EFI partition if for no other reason than updates to Win10 will include updates to the boot files the update installer is expecting to find in the EFI partition. After each update you would have to move/copy the Win10 EFI files to the Clover EFI folder - not a good idea IMHO.

Currently it's on the same EFI partition as clover so I guess I need to create an EFI and Recovery partition on the Windows drive and copy everything over?

Yes, I know it's harder than it sounds.

No, there should already be EFI and recovery partitions on the Win10 drive. Unless, of course, you left your OS X drive connected during the Win10 install and the Win10 installer actually installed the EFI and recovery partitions on your OS X drive. This can happen.

Bingo! No EFI and Recovery partitions on the Windows drive. Sigh.....

Now, to make everything work right, shutdown Ubuntu, insert the OS X USB installer again and boot to OS X desktop. Mount the EFI partition and rename the Windows boot manager file:

Run MultiBeast to install Clover, networking and audio and reboot to UEFI and set the OS X partition as first in boot order:

Save&Exit and continue boot to Clover - select an OS to boot:

And that, my children is just how simple it is.

What if my BIOS doesn't allow me to choose which partition is first (it seems to be convinced it's Windows Boot loader and no option to select others) ??

My crystal being in the shop I have no way of telling since you do not follow the forum rules about hardware and your profile and / or sig. Got no idea what BIOS / UEFI you are running.

No idea how I lost my profile or quite where its gone (it was complete some time ago!). I'm on latest 3.07 BIOS.

I re-did it all again (yikes!) and found I was stuck on Ubuntu's EFI loader. Some Google led me to efibootmgr which enables me to add Clover entry and make that higher priority.. so even though the BIOS thinks its loading Ubuntu boot manager it actually loads Clover.

Yes, thanks.. had a further complication with it where Windows then took over but simply adding Clover again as the Windows file (we had renamed with -orig in file name, so keep that but add the new file) fixed it. Bit weird but its fine now!

Go to BIOS first, then search for Boot Priority Option. Click each of then and disable desired drive.
