[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I'm running Little Snitch on my hackintoshs as well as my Macs.
Did you ever have any problems with it? I mean with Little Snitch?
Thanks.

What are u guys using to clone your HD for a backUp?
Also I want to overclock it, any idea of the settings?
Thanks guys

In 3 groups is like doing only 3 Airdrop actions. You have to send them one by one so that you get a notification for each photo
Just air-dropped 32 photos one by one from the iPhone with no issues. Monitor driven by RX 580 over DisplayPort. Headless platform ID 0x3E980003 with iGPU used for compute tasks.

Unfortunately it's not that simple because the on-board HDMI port will not generate a 60Hz signal. You will need a new graphics chip in order to generate 60Hz. However, something like this might work, although I have not tested it myself:

Has anyone tested one of these low cost adapters ?

This cable does the job with 4K video. I'm using it to connect a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) Retina 2880 x 1800 display using an Intel HD Graphics 630. (quote from Amazon)
States that it works with Mac mini 8,1 so I'd think it should work for someone using that System Def. and integrated graphics. The USB C to DP cable looks to be the best option for 4K monitors with DP in.

For overclocking adventures, try this:
And search for other posts by this author.

As for backups, I personally use Carbon Copy Cloner. I've been a CCC user for years.

I'm planning to update to 10.14.4. Any advice on updating Clover? Do any of the drivers need changing?

It is recommended to update Clover, but before you take one step forward with the upgrade, it is even more strongly recommended to make a full system backup. You should also mount EFI partition and save a full copy of the EFI folder.

When updating Clover, it's also a good idea to update existing drivers. No need to add any new ones.

Thanks! So I used the correct version of clover configurator and finished all of the post installation steps and rebooted. Now the machine throws an error: "This version of Mac OS X is not supported on this platform!"

Reason Mac-F227BEC8

Is this because of the Vega 56? (I followed your guide and chose a mini8,1)

Please ensure that you selected MacMini8,1 instead of iMac8,1.

Next, which version of Mojave did you install? Was it 10.14.0? You can find out by right-clicking on "Install macOS Mojave" in the Applications folder of your original Mac and selecting Get Info. If it says "14.0.2" then it's the wrong version.

Remember that MacMini8,1 was released about 4 months after the original release of Mojave. So the 2018 Mac mini is supported with 10.14.1 or later.

If you did in fact install 10.14.0, you should move or delete "Install macOS Mojave" from your Applications folder on the Mac and re-download Mojave from the App Store. Unfortunately this means re-installing macOS... :(
