do you have crashes on windows?

have you tried another hard drive?

No crashes on windows, but windows is not installed on the same ssd.
The windows os is installed on the default xiaomi ssd, I put a second ssd for the mac os
Yes I tried to install high sierra first on a Samsung 970 Evo and now on a 960 Evo, but no changes, I still have crashes.

Hello
Today I tried to update to 10.14.4, the update failed. When I restart the machine I can see a macOS install and a normal macos boot option, and my headphone jack also broke. Can someone give me help about how to fix this, or finish the update, or both? I want to update because of the news+ app, I really would like to try it.
Thanks for your answer!

The update always failed when I tried to update my macOS from 10.14.1 as well, I think the most likely cause for me is that I have macOS, Windows, Deepin Linux, and ChromeOS all installed on the same hard drive. I have decided that I will just leave my macOS on 10.14.1 for now.

Are you dual booting any other OS? That's probably the reason for your problem and I doubt there's a easy way to fix it

Hello guys!
I have Xiaomi Mi Notebook 15.6 Light (i3, 4Gb Ram, UHD 620)
I want to install High Sierra on it. Will this guide work for my configuration or should I know something?

So for this stupid question- how do I make the USB Stick?

Most likely you will not be able use the same EFI folder unfortunately. Although I haven't tested and there is that 0.1% chance that it could work, I think it's better to follow a different guide.

The only way that I am allowed to tell you is to use a real mac or hackintosh (the rules doesn't allow VMs, they are quite strict here), download the OS image from the app store, then enter this command in terminal

sudo "/Applications/Install macOS Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia" --volume /Volumes/install_osx --nointeraction

Finally replace the EFI folder with the one from daliansky on github and boot it up

By the way, can someone (probably an admin, since razorkey is inactive) update this guide for Mojave and move it to the Mojave guide section on this forum? It will give this guide more visibility. Since the install steps are basically the same, someone just needs to replace all the “High Sierra” with “Mojave” throughout the guide. Also, the stevezhengshiqi EFI folder is no longer updated so the guide should be linking to daliansky's EFI folder now.
