The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

Thanks SO Much for your guide! It was very easy install process. Everything works for my system except air drop. I am using Dell DW1560 BCM94352z. It should identical to the one you use. Even the handoff works. This makes me very confused.

If you did that install just now or a few hours back.
He uses USB port limit patch to have full access to port HS14.
I'm kind of in the same boat here.
The patch needs to be done for stuff to fully work.
Sadly I'm not that experienced yet to help you.
But at least you got some info :D
I have no clue how to do the limit remover. I am completely new to Hackintach.

This may be a dumb question but I'm gonna ask anyway. When trying to use Airdrop you have everything turned on and setting as they should be? Reason I ask is because I decided to test AirDrop and it was not working for me. I resolved it. Do you wanna know what the issue was? I need to connect my WiFi/ BT antenna. I use Ethernet all the time. The BT cards in these builds have horrible range. Even if the item is right next to you. It has been mentioned in previous forums. So I connected the antenna and then both my iPad and iPhone appeared in my AirDrop and was able to share a photo via AirDrop.

Continuity and Airdrop need WiFi to work. You can leave both Ethernet and Wifi on and it will work.

Ive also read that you need BT on as well. I actually had to go look at YouTube videos just to see how to make AirDrop work. I disconnected my Ethernet and went WiFi and BT. At 1st it wasn't working. It wasn't discovering my iPad or iPhone for AirDrop and BT. Then I remembered a few years ago I had this same issue and read a post that I should connect the antennas for better range. Once I connected them both my iPad and iPhone became discoverable on AirDrop and BT.

@sorob The port limit remover patch is already in the latest EFI. I only removed them briefly because we were trying to diagnose an install issue. You should reread this post.

Tried this guide this morning and it worked like a charm, first time out of the box! This is the single most painless hackintosh experience I've had so far. All up and running in 10.4.4. Cheers!

Note: I initially had trouble booting from the USB but that was only due to me not using Disk Utility correctly to make the stick bootable. That set me back about an hour. Oh well!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm surprised Unibeast did not format it properly. I am quoting you in the guide, if that is not ok let me know.

That's totally fine with me. I posted it in another thread, but the problem was in Disk Utility, not erasing the root USB Stick, but instead only the factory partition (brand new stick). In Disk Utility ensure that in "Views" that "all devices" is selected and you can erase from the device level instead of partition level. This provides the GUID option whereas partition level will not, and then you'll have a non-bootable USB stick.
