Corsair Hydro 150i Pro RGB - fan speeds and monitoring

Hello there,

I successfully installed Hackintosh on my new build. However, I do have an issue with the Corsair Hydro 150i Pro RGB.
I cannot see the fan speeds and also have no control over them. I'm watching the CPU temps with HWMonitor and for the fans speeds i'm using Macs Fan Control - and there is no fan listed.

The fans of the Corsair Hydro are connected directly to the pump (not on the mobo) and the Corsair is connected via internal USB (which actually prevents sleep as I read).

I'm asking for a piece of advice in getting to read or even control the fan speeds of the Corsair Hydro.
My possible solutions are:

1.
- Disconnect the internal USB
- Connect the fans to the motherboard (and get the speeds in Macs Fan Control)
- Set the fans to the maximum speed in BIOS - in order for the pump to get 12v and work properly

Will this result in wearing out the fans in time? Is it the best solution?

2.
- Keep the fans connected to the pump as they are now
- Keep the pump connected via internal USB
- Install Windows in a VM
- Set and see the fan speeds from that VM

This is an alternative, but a laborious one. What do you think? Will Windows be capable to read these values through a VM via Hackintosh?

Any other ideas?

Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Master Z390
Processor: Intel i9 9900K 3.6GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 64GB 3000MHz
Video card: Sapphire Radeon Vega64 Nitro+
Storage: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB / ADATA SSD 120GB (i intend to use it for the Clover EFI partition)

See posts: #9 and later, maybe you've to enable the internal usb ports.
