pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hi all, i need your help please. I need to configure a fresh newest installation of mojave with my configuration in signature. I already install Windows on 1st SSD and I need to install Mojave on 2nd SSD. I downloaded Mojave via MacOs mojave patcher (approx 6,xxGB) and I need to upload it on an USB to install on 2nd SSD. Someone could help me? Do I need to use Unibeast 9? If I use unibeast tell me that installer is incomplete or something similar (i'm sure that iso is OK!)... Could you help me? I can't fix ...

As per forum rules, please update your profile to include your CPU, motherboard, and GPU.

What is macOS Mojave Patcher? You can create your USB installer using UniBeast or use the Apple method. All the details for this are on post #1.

I lost audio on this update aswell. Changing audio layout to 1, as suggested by @pastrychef fixed it for me.

Hi, I just came back from leaving my computer on a long sleep and my audio is gone again :(.

How long? I had my computer sleeping most of the day and audio was fine after sleep...

Please post your EFI folder.

Maybe an hour or two.

Please try updating to the latest Lilu, AppleALC, and WhateverGreen.

  1. Download the release versions of above kexts.
  2. Replace the versions in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other.

@KingKPS Yes, same here, audio was lost after sleep. So i was abit too quick saying it was fixed.
I have, however, set mine back to audio layout 2, as earlier. And now it works, like before.
Why it didnt work right after the update, i really dont know, but after resetting the value it works like it used to!!?

Good morning. My goal is to be able to configure the bluetooth matias keyboard in BIOS and also Windows / Macos. Since I have no free M.2 slots I purchased a BCM ZYX-360CD PCI card with BCM94360CS. The first problem is that I cannot connect the pigtail cables to the BCM94360CS card. Furthermore the card has 3 cables and BCM94360CS only 2 slots. Is it possible that they are not compatible? Doing a BT scan obviously I don't detect anything. Can anyone help me? I am desperate.. Best regards

The PCI-e adaptor card you purchased seems to have been designed for the BCM94360CD which uses 3 antennas. I believe the BCM94360CD and BCM94360CS2 are pin compatible so the adaptor should work.

I can't remember if the BCM94360CD used the same antenna connectors. If you can't connect the antennas to BCM94360CS2, you may need to replace the pigtail antennas with compatible ones. Attaching these antennas can often be difficult. I use tweezers to help...

Using just 2 of the 3 available antenna is not a problem.
