OK I've said I will update my results once new CPU is installed, so here it is:

10.14.4 Beta (18E194d)
Final Cut Pro X 10.4.5

I7 4770K @ 4.4 GHz
Sapphire Pulse AMD RX 580 8GB
32GB(4x8GB) DDR 3 1600mHz Crucial Ballistix
MSI H97 Gaming 3
Samsung EVO 970 512GB

Background rendering disabled and before each export deleted rendered files:
BruceX Test 5K ProRes 422 - 15.5 seconds (average in few tests)
BruceX Test 5K H.264 - 19.5 seconds (average in few tests)

These numbers are one thing and real life is different as you know.
That said, before installing this CPU, hackintosh was fast, but now I can say without doubt that it is working how it should, in OS generally, APPS and specially in FCPX. Also temps of the dGPU(RX 580) are much less, about 10 degrees around 30-45, so fans are not even spinning, where before temps where just at around 40-55 and non stop switching on/off.

Rendering in FCPX and exporting is now like 10 faster for 4k and about 4-5 times for 1080p in H.264. Over all very satisfied with this now.

I'm waiting for new CPU cooler and will try to push this CPU little further to see what can be done with it.

A bit frustrated to have results slower than so many users with 580's when i have a Vega 64 :(
Results went down from 12s since OSX 10.14.2

Just updated to OSX 10.14.4 FCP 10.4.6, Background rendering disabled.
BruceX Test 5K ProRes 422 - 16 seconds average.
BruceX Test 5K H.264 - 18 seconds average.

Weird thing is I checked in Videoproc and it does not recognised H264 and HEVC. I can export to H264 though.
Is the app legit?

That is strange it should be much lower. Something is wrong with your setup.

I pretty much follow Pastry's build. The only uncommon thing I have is the Nitro plus version of the GPU.
Maybe i'll just open a thread about it to see if anyone can help.

I don't think it should be a problem(Nitro plus version). You should test with different things, from BIOS to config.plist etc... Your own thread should be a good start for troubleshooting this issue. Hope you find solution.
